President Trump
author=harmonic
I totally expected there to be a highly emotional counter post when I decided to post here. Feelings are hurt from the loss and I'm me. So Craze's little outburst is very very predictable.
My post was very inoffensive. I could have come here and gloated, taking revenge for all the abuse I've yielded being in the right-leaning minority, but I didn't. I'm being conciliatory here. And it was actually pretty good advice. Doubling down on identity politics is not the answer. It's not how you're going to change minds and hearts. It just makes the other person feel like they're on defense, like why even bother finding common ground.

I encourage Democrats to open their eyes to what actually went wrong, rather than "well this country just has too many racists in it." You're not going to learn anything from that. You wouldn't say that for personal failures would you? If you didn't get that promotion, would you just pout and blame everyone else for being stupid?Not if you plan on ever being successful.
Nah, this segment is pretty damn condescending. Why would you presuppose that the users here were necessarily 100% pro-Hillary in sentiment? The DNC is as corrupt as the RNC (if not more-so this election) - it favored corporatism over the populism that its rhetoric suggests, and now Trump's victory is the sad result.
I think most rational people could see that pretty transparently...at least I would hope so. I will admit that your idea itself is spot-on though - Democrats NEED to seriously reconsider their tactics if they want to remain any kind of viable political party.
President Trump
author=LockeZlol, are you serious?
Jesus Christ, get a grip. It's not that big a deal. Getting the president you don't like isn't great, but it's not worse than, like, stubbing your toe.
Trump may not have full autonomy with policy-making, but he can easily (and will undoubtedly) choose far-right Supreme Court justices that could impact this country's social atmosphere for decades.
He can also move social-policy cases through the courts with seasoned constitutional lawyers, which could potentially impact anyone who isn't a straight/wealthy white male. If you don't believe that's substantive reason to be angry, you should 'get a grip' yourself.
The only silver lining in the long-term is that Trump has utterly demolished the two-party paradigm going forward. I hope this can give way to an idealogical reevaluation from both parties - literally from the ground-up.
President Trump
Yeah dude, I woke up in absolute disgust and revulsion. Trump makes a mockery of even the very idea of a "President" and I will never accept the results or call him our leader. I consider myself lucky to live in a liberal city that will never bend fully to his agenda...but there are millions out there who will undoubtedly suffer. We have to stand in solidarity with them.
Funnily, I thought I would be one of those arrogant people who would boast "See?! If only you'd chosen Bernie! The DNC dug it's own grave," etc...because I honestly never liked Clinton. I downright loathed her. But yesterday, I made the impossible choice to vote Democrat...and I hoped everyone with my same doubts might do the same. My vote wasn't for my own ideals, but for the greater good (lol). It's not anger in my heart anymore, but just pure sadness. Everyone with an open heart needs to stand together in the US, or something seriously sinister will come from this election.

Looking Forward: The Huntress of The Hollow
Glad to see you finally went through with this interview! We've been in need of a new weekly/monthly series to chronicle RM developers. XDD
Couldn't agree more with these sentiments.

At best, they're pieces of art that you can directly and intimately interact with. They let you explore things you never could in real life, tackle concepts and art styles and just…I could go on forever, I love video games, dude!

Don't give up. Don't be upset if you can only work a little bit at a time. Some days I would work on Huntress for hours, other days I would make a single object in a chipset or sketch something in my notepad and then play video games all day. Any progress is good progress and you should be happy if you get anything done whatsoever.

Final Fantasy XV
author=GreatRedSpiritbut then you'd lose the creative brilliance/mysticism behind a name such as Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage
Does this mean it's time for Tabata to replace Nomura's role in KH3 too so Nomura can take his rightful place of being Director of the Coffee Machine?
Final Fantasy XV
pseudo topic bump, but.. it's so..b-beautiful...
Although I've been frustrated with the countless delays, I still see myself becoming more and more enthralled with every new trailer for this game. XD
There's a really tangible feeling that they've effectively meshed the Japanese sensibilities (many from Nomura's days of directing) and the linear/cinematic qualities, with the more Westernized and open-ended direction they added for the earlier parts of the game.
New 4k TV
author=Hexatona
Serious question though - why is 4k video even really a thing? To me it seems like bumping an mp3 from 320kbps to 1080kbps. It was practically lossless at the start - why quadruple the size?
It depends on the original recording/size of the television etc. (I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure most Hollywood films are mastered at far beyond 1080).
But yeah, if you have anything larger than 55 inches (with the right input configuration), I think you'll definitely see a difference.
