that's the third failed attempt at multi-purpose 2d engine. I think the problem here is that they always start anew. Building upon IG Maker could result in a decent maker by now.
Also, it's far more difficult to make something like that. I think there are always sacrifices you have to make to keep it approachable. Idk, making a maker engine with built-in action battle system, pixel movement and precise jumping system shouldn't be so difficult.
