I would argue that both Off and Mario could be put under Mother.
It should be Final Fantasy/ Dragon Quest, Mother, Yume Nikki and Dark Souls. Read some game descriptions. Dark and Souls is the new Diablo.

I feel like if your gam is inspired by Earthbound or Yume Nikki, you probably don't need to bother to say it, because the influence will be very obvious.
What's Yume Nikki / Earthbound?
It is the same game. Yume Nikki in Japan Earthbound in America/Europe. It's like a modern day Final Fantasy. Battles are bad, tho. More like Mystic Quest than regular Final Fantasy.
