Help! It's been so long since I've worked on an RPG that I've forgotten how!
What are you thinking about right now?
I just hate shipping in general, not necessarily from specific countries. Although I'll agree that Hong Kong is weirdly always good.. One time, we had a big Christmas order from ThinkGeek and had already paid about £20 on shipping. When the guy arrived at the door, he demanded a further £25 customs fees. :/
On an unrelated note, I hate '50 Shades of Grey' simply because all of the gross people on my Facebook never shut up about it. I really don't want to know that you like erotica THAT much.

Faceset help
Everyone starts somewhere! Those pictures aren't so sucky (I frequent DA and see a LOT of bad pictures, and those are nowhere near as bad). For me, I find that working on a small scale like with this faceset is a lot easier because less room = less to go wrong. :P Maybe you should try looking at some pictures on the internet and copying them to get a sense for anatomy and style.

So I thought I'd use the translator for some really important situations if you were in a foreign country. A lot of people are going to die..

I gave it a go, but that style is really difficult to match.. I won't be hideously offended if you don't use this (it took all of 5 minutes), and seriously recommend you get an actual artist to do it instead. XD

Here is the page I got them at. Sorry I couldn't be much more help, and I hope you find an artist! I'd give it a shot if I was confident I could.
EDIT: I gave editing a bit of a go, but good god did it come out terribly! Don't laugh too hard, faces really aren't my forté.. :( I think someone who actually possesses talent would be able to give it a better go.

I got the feeling from my searching that you're going to have a hard time finding one that's already been made without making sacrifices in terms of how well they match. I advise you either a) go with it and use one of the ones on this thread, despite it not being what you want, b) use one as a placeholder until a better one is made, c) either have a crack at it yourself or pay/beg an artist. :P Good luck anyway, dude!

The Only Two Left
Well I've been without the internet for a month which has set me back quite a bit, yet pushed me forward at the same time (I've been doodling non-stop to keep me sane). I'm still knee-deep in deciding on an art style to take and actually trying to get better at drawing anatomically correct people. Now that I have the 'net I can start looking for models and tutorials. I speculate that this is going to be a longass project, and probably won't be done for about a year.
On the plus side, I've also been using RPG Maker in my downtime to make a game and test out the social system! I may release the little prototype once it's done, but I'd say it's working pretty nicely!
