What are you thinking about right now?

Write a few strips of each and post them on RMN? I'm sure quite a few people would give some nice criticisms on what they'd like to see you continue!

What are you thinking about right now?

I'd suggest writing out as many ideas for future strips as possible right now, especially if it's going to be a funny comic. The downfall of people I know who've tried making a funny webcomic is that they dove right in and didn't bother thinking past the first few pages or punchlines. Oh, and don't set yourself crazy commitments like updating daily. If you stick to a more reasonable deadline like once per week, people won't be disappointed when you obviously fail to keep the promise of a comic each day.

I am currently thinking about how much yet still how little I want to open RPG Maker right now.

Title Screen Vote NOW~

Third gets my vote for sure!

RMN Pixel Quilt event

Oh.. I kinda liked my version. :( I guess a ribbon is less immature.

So uhh, who's left to fill stuff in now? And is it limited to one patch per person?

RMN Pixel Quilt event

So that magic thing in the clouds harnesses the power of moon blood and dragon farts?

RMN Pixel Quilt event

This is looking so awesome! I picture that green beam zapping the cool dragon or something just totally crazy and badass..

RMN Pixel Quilt event

Doesn't look like anyone's taken it, so I'll steal A5.

EDIT: Double checked to make sure no one took A5, but tell me if you did and I'm just being a dumbass. :(

What is up with all the NAMES people come up with for their games?

I hate to stamp all over the "generic name generator" but.. the point of titles is to interest and intrigue. While these words have become generic alone, one must find the winning combination that will draw in the players.

For example, 'Lost Eden' is probably a pretty shit title (and is the title of a real game, actually). Sounds like you could sum up the plot synopsis in a sentence or two without even playing though, regardless of the actual game content. Definitely sounds like it's been done to death too. But 'Metronome Prince' sounds pretty cool!

Weird things are also pretty good. Adding in weirdo character names in like.. I'unno, "Mr. Dragon" is interesting. 'The Fantastic Wings of Mr. Dragon'. Who wouldn't want to play that?!

While I agree that "x Lion Claw Squad - ACTIVE SANCTUARY Princess of Lost Garden: Fantasmagoria XXI" is a ridiculous title, it is interesting and - in relation to games available - not at all generic. Could you even begin to attempt a plot synopsis from it without ever playing it?

Is anyone working on a romance RPG at the moment?

I am.. sorta. It's gonna take a veeeery long time to complete though.
