It'ssss.. it's okay, yeah! It's good for like 10 episodes and then it starts to spiral out of well-explained plot for a bit, and then it comes back for one or two good episodes before ending in a really unsatisfying way. There's a new series called FMA: Brotherhood which is based off of the manga, and is apparently much better.

I wouldn't worry about copying it: your story doesn't sound much like it other than having a character with a name similar to 'Alphonse' and having alchemists/people who are brothers. :P And if you do somehow copy it without ever seeing it, that's fine because people love FMA. A lot.

Oh, good! I'm glad it went well! And yes, I very, very quickly threw together the pictures at the start (hence their quality).

I did heavily consider whether to add dashing or leave it out, and it was a tricky decision indeed.. I think I've decided that at certain points, you'll be given more inventory items like speed power-ups that allow you to walk faster for one level. They'll also be available at the end-of-game shop for you to spend your Ghosties on!

It was a tough decision, and I know what you mean about wanting to dash all the time. I think VX/Ace kinda ruined that for me a little, because I hold shift at all times no matter what game I play.

Yep. Really early demo for anyone who wants to check it out and potentially sniff out some bugs or steal ideas. XD This is my safety net in case I can't finish the whole game in time (at least something will be up and out there).

You know, I should totally do that! I might have special bonus packages at the end that you can buy with all the Ghosties you collect, so maybe I'll throw in an MGS pack (Sana already suggested the cardboard box). XD
