The Tim Tam Slam is indeed a very risky endeavour! Maybe I should have explained a bit better on how they work.. but the tree is supposed to be HELLA difficult because there isn't actually any gameplay after that. I had about two hours every night for one week to work on this, so it's probably a miracle I even completed it!

There is a switch called "Stop Enemies" which makes all the enemies stop moving so they can't attack you. It'd activate whenever you opened the menu, but I started to encounter a bug where you'd come out of the menu and be attacked by thin air a couple times (much, much more annoying I believe!). I didn't have enough time or brain power to fix it at the time, so unfortunately it had to be taken away completely and enemies could move during menu opening. D: If it's too bothersome and you want to risk the bug harming you (it seriously takes off about 3 hearts without anything ever touching you) to stop the enemies moving while the menu is open, you should be able to just turn the switch on at the top of the common event in the game file.

Oh, and the joke is pretty much just that Libby very occasionally shares a NSFW image of a genderbent One Piece character presenting a cherry pie and it tortures your eyes/mind. The other jokes are mainly Australia-related. :P

Thank you! For any particular reason? XD

Befuddle Quest 6: The Next Generation

Kentona, you know the rules about alt accounts.. ;)

The Only Two Left

Well maybe it won't be so lame after I actually get around to doing this game.. XD But it hopefully won't be suck. Character development is super important to me in games/stories/everything, and usually takes precedent over plot.. so I'm sorry if that seems flimsy, and hope that the characters will make up for it. :P

Basically, this game is 'I Am Legend' meets 'Inception'..

The Only Two Left

First game is a dream, but it was just way too much info to throw into the game to begin with. And I didn't want to end it by just saying "and it was aaaaall a dream" because that would be lame. XD It should all tie together in this game, and it's not like he's gonna forget anything that happened before. Most of the stuff from the first one has some symbolism behind it and will likely continue to haunt him through the rest (potential spoiler?: weird appearances from characters in the first game that manifest from his loneliness/lack of lady-friend, that kinda thing.. a few of them are personalities that he's developed from people he used to know before everything went ladyparts up, and he's using them as "friends" to keep himself company, I guess. XD)

This game is another of his dreams which you play out, dropping symbolism to his need to survive and save the people around him (which he miserably failed to do before, naturally). More of his backstory will be explained throughout the dream. More than anything I suppose this is just an exploration of the subconscious of a man who lost everything he held dear, and is now haunted by dreams of his past. :P

Harvest Moon VX

Sounds excellent, can't wait to see what direction you take this. I'm in!

It would be better to get an A for being both quick and getting all the items, as that's likely the hardest to do, in my opinion, and the other slightly lower scores for either being super-thorough but slow or skipping items and rushing. Just my two ghosties.

I see what you did thar..

I suppose I could rework the scoring system to include a 'percentage Ghosties gathered' score which would contribute to your overall good-doing.

I'll probably do that in the next update. I'm pretty tired from work at the mo, so it may be a while. XD

Not a Chance of a Ghost!

EDIT: Herp, double post 'cause I'm an idiot.

Not a Chance of a Ghost!

CC's CC is fantastically well-received and useful! Thank you!

I'm glad you like! As for the issues:

- With the second monster (on stage 1, I assume?) you're only really half-hidden behind the roof. If the perspective was correct, you'd still be visible (I really should've made the tops of the roofing passable). Kinda wanged that bit up, but maybe I'll set that bit behind the house to count as "cover" so you can hide there.

- I did kinda want to keep the stage scores but I figured if you got all A's in your first go, there'd be no real motivation to get all A's again because it'd show as already having them. I guess if you know in your mind that you did well before, the score showing isn't that important.. right? :P

But I'm glad you're enjoying it! Trust me, if I'd had more time, this game would be hella long. In future I'll fill out the end-game shop a lot more to contain new stages and areas to explore.

Thanks for your mini review! ^^

Yay! You managed to finish it :D

I just played your latest download and managed to get through it with the horrible score of D's across all stages hehe... but wanting to get my C's plus wanting to get enough coins to try the bundles at the end make for great replayability.
Good job!

Yeah, I wanted to make it so that if you chose to go through carefully and grab all the Ghosties, you'll either get a C or a D (depending on time). If you used some Magical Running Shoes, you can easily pick up all the Ghosties and get away with a B. If you just run straight through, you're likely to get an A. :P Thanks for testing it out! I'm glad it has good replay value!

Let give this a spin!

*Edit: Maybe it's just me, but things seemed a little harder this time around? I dunno. Anyway, I don't think it necessary to re-play the opening sequence after leaving the shop. I would recommend putting players back to the first stage directly. Though, if you want to have some kind of ROUND counter, and display that rather than the intro sequence, that's an option.

There's only about 3 days left. So, if you want to make these changes later, supposing you make them at all, I won't hold it against you.

The addition of the scoring system might've made things seem a little harder, and I made some of the indoor levels quite tricky if you wanted those extra Ghosties (there's a cupboard that is pretty much constantly under surveillance). But tricky = good, because it gives you a reason to buy more Magical Running Shoes at the end! And I like people wasting their Ghosties on Shoes instead of nice sprites to use. XD

I did leave a bit of time at the end for changes, so I think I will remove that intro section. When I was doing testing, I was ninja-dashing through every level so by the time I got to the end, the game had only taken about 5 minutes to complete. The intro itself takes about 3 minutes to watch, and was starting to irritate me watching it over and oooover.. so yeah, I think I'll take that bit out. I don't think anyone's going to forget the incredibly simple story any time soon, so it's not necessary.

Thanks for the help, guys! Time to make some last minute changes!
