What do you like in a forum?
Yeah, interactivity is especially important. Hyping your own game is all well and important, but we also need to comment and encourage others on their screens and games!
Also, I like the huge discussions that go on here, but I feel like they're intellectually above me sometimes. ^_^

VX - Untitled
I played the first two episodes, and they're pretty cool! I found the encounter rate a bit high in the swamp considering its size, but other than that I have no complaints! Good work! Also, who locks their projects, honestly? :P

Worst video games you've played this year
I loved Gears of War, but then again, I think to get the most out of it you need to play it with a friend in co-op mode. I had a blast.
The Next Maker?
Well they don't make puke or anything, partly because they're used in a screen where there is nothing cartoony. You don't have the character sets or tiles in battles, so I don't really mind too much. I do see your point though! It would be fitting if XP and VX switched monsters.

The VX monsters were pretty cool I thought, they're much better than XP's. Another thing that would be pretty cool is some title screen flexibility. It'd be nice to be able to throw in animations or options etc.

You're mapping looks great, you tell a good tale, you're one hell of a coder, etc.
