Install the MS-Gothic and MS-Mincho fonts to your Windows Font folder. This, unless the font is invisible, will fix the problem.

For a second, I misread "demon power" as "demon powder", which would be unfortunate after a demo of Legend of Denadel was released.
EDIT: Just played it... somewhat. Though I'd hate to say it, the mapping and grammar need serious improvements.
