Phantom Legacy (Part 1) Review
^Exactly.
One man is only capable of so much bug testing. When I first release my project it'll be open-beta type with "test at leisure".
But I'm sure you'll get more and better reviews later on anyway.

Phantom Legacy (Part 1) Review
Just a thought of mine...
But isn't it a bit early to be reviewing something? The whole project must be fraught with bugs still, and a number of tweaks must be yet to be made.

The Screenshot Topic Returns
The trees are kinda small. Normally that type of tree is one that someone could stand straight up under. He would have to crouch to dodge the leaves and branches.
The guy himself looks good though. But as has been mentioned, big attractive sprites are wasted if you do minimal animation.

AFTERMATH DEMO - Game Version 0.1 - Submitted.
Just in time for my week off.
I've sentenced myself to no-games-til-my-project-is-done, but I think I can cheat for a kickass demo.

BTW, I'm curious. What are the repayment terms of your loan? Monthly payments over how long and whatnot.
Begging for a $30,000 bailout, you might as well buy a lottery ticket. But a little charitable aid to keep you out of the red for a month or two might not be too much to ask.

Of the choices, 2k3. But that's because I'm an old boi.
Right now, I'm a Sim RPGMaker 95 fan. I'm surprised Enterbrain hasn't released a new Sim yet. Hell, they could probably make money with some simple upgrades to the old maker.

if things hit rock bottom you might want to look into filing for chapter 13 bankruptcy...
Don't bother with bankruptcy. In the US, student loan is a non-dischargeable debt. Bankruptcy won't free you from it.

If you're not being served collection notices and demands by the original creditors/banks, I urge you to learn your rights. I've heard in 90% of cases you have no legal obligation to pay these collection/junk collection agencies the sums they're demanding.
The situation for each loan is different so there is no widespread solution.
But it is theoretically possible to invalidate a debt when it passes hands to the collection agency. If they add a fee to your existing debt, you can repudiate that fee which may result in repudiating the entire debt (judge willing) should you have to take it to court. Note that if they add a fee and you make even a single payment to them after they added it, you've already consented to ownership of that fee.
There's information all over the net regarding debt invalidation. Student loans will be an uphill battle, and they may even send a SWAT team to collect but if you're willing to fight it, good luck.

I've been watching this for a long time now. Problem is, I've committed to not playing any new games until I finish mine (which may take quite a long while ~_~). Also, I think I'll play the first one before I delve into this. I already have it sitting on my comp, ready to be played.
On the serious stuff, you're a victim of the College Industrial Complex. I almost was too, but our tuition fees are still within reason.
I live up here in safe ol' Canada with a well paying job and a head on my shoulders that can sort the reality from the bullshit, so I'm probably not the right person to offer advice. But I'll just say this anyway.
Don't pay it. Fuck'em. Debts that can't be paid, won't be paid.
Even if someone did bail you out, what would you do? Go back to sleep? Just want to be left alone? That sort of complacency is what got you into this mess in the first place, and you're not the only person to be ensnared.
The entire system is corrupt from bottom-feeding predatory colleges to the top echelons of government. If there was justice, Katharine Gibbs would be shut down, it's officers in jail, and your payments reimbursed. You can't rely on the law to fight back unless you're willing to change the law yourself, and that kind of will doesn't exist in the US. The system is working against you. Your best bet is to no longer participate in it.
Once you gather the resolve to stop paying your student loan, use the internet to educate yourself. Anything you can think of, resources are on the internet to learn it. You are your best asset. Develop it. You only need school if you need some mandatory certification like for Medical or Engineering, and even then it's probably not worth it anyway (high paid trades pay the most taxes).
Start stocking up on the necessities of life. Don't think for a second that you're the only one whose got it bad. When things go bad, crime goes up.
Take a history lesson on the US Dollar and know why your country is only a few years away from hyperinflation (or a pre-emptive default, which isn't better).
And for god's sake, buy a gun or two. If you're a whiny "guns are bad" faggot, I can point you to an excellent argument on why every man, woman and child on the face of the earth should carry one.
A safer alternative is, if you have friends or family in a different country, move there. The US is going to be a nasty place to live in the coming years.
Anybody out there with "tinfoil hat" comments to say, leave them at the door and try actually proving me wrong.
