The depth isn't really there because the fence still seems like it's on the hero's level. Sprite it onto a cliff edge.

What about skills? Will there be any customizability in terms of what skills characters learn?
Legionwood went with the oversimplified "Everybody can learn everything" which did a lot of damage to individual characters (the 6th char was essentially useless).
