Legends Of Illarion: Nostalgic Remaster Edition

Hi, you are talking about LOI2, not this game, right?

You start by following the exit with the owl where Sirani talks, and then you just keep following exits that have owls next to them. I don't have the exact directions with me right now, but I can check again later. Also, you can use the Skip Puzzle item to get through the forest if you are still stuck.

EDIT: Here is the solution

-Start at the screen where Sirani says there's an owl nearby and go east(right) exit

-then at the S shaped path, go south exit

-then at the lake with the sword, go west(left) exit

-then at the circular path around the green cliffs, go south exit

-then follow the path, and go east exit

-then turn back the way you just came from, and go west exit

OH YES!! I found it! You can buy them at Erdrick's Silverstar Merchants Shop now! =D

Hmmm unfortunately, the Yellow Recipe was a missable item back in Ch.5 when you raided the Tyrant's Palace. I'm trying to look at the editor to see if I made the recipes buyable from a shop somewhere at this point, because they have a price tag, but no luck so far...

You can get to Silverbrand by using the tunnel under the Library in Troll's Bane. The shrine room is at the southern part of the city. You will need to master Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Tailoring, Baking, Glassblowing, and Druidry (lv 16 for the first three, 40 bottles, and collected all recipes).

For Zhambra, everyone in the party needs to be at least level 45.

For Oldra, you need to have Mining, Lumberjacking, Cutting, Peasantry, Fishing, and Herb Lore at level 4.

If you want, you can also just continue on the main story first to collect more resources and exp from battles, and there will still be portals later that let you come back to explore the world right until the very end. There's also a sidequest you can do now at the Troll's Bane tavern.

No problem! And thanks for playing and getting this far!

Bottles are made by using the tools Glass Blowpipe and Wooden Shovel, which you can buy from the big shop in Troll's Bane. You then use these tools to combine Quartz Sand and Pott Ash to make empty bottles.

Hi! Do you mean finding the Emblems in chapter 12? If so, here are their locations:

Irmorom: the altar in the dwarven city of Silverbrand
Oldra: the alter in the halfling town of Greenbrair
Zhambra: the altar at the temple where you found the Glove of Judgement with Astral

Moshran: talk to Gurdman, who stands near the north entrance of Troll's Bane
Elara: at the Tower of Enlightenment, 1st floor, a guy next to the stairway
Nargun: cannot be found yet until later...
Cherga: if you didn't talk to her when she was in the Underwater City, then you can't get it anymore...

Sirani, Malachin, Adron, Ronagan: You should already have these from the main story

Legends Of Illarion 2: Sins Of The Gods

Out of curiosity, did you use Elara's Elemental Exchange or Sirani's Water Weaponry buffs for some of the fire based boss fights? Or Elara's skills that consume a Mana Potion, or Adron throwing Yellow Potions (he gets damage bonus)? It does make a big difference in damage output with all of that.

That is true about mage AOE spells being a bit too strong. I have been occasionally considering about mixing up the monster groupings too. I think I just might go and do that now...

EDIT: Done! I've reshuffled different types of enemies into various groups in the newest version.

Oh no worries, it's good to hear some of your thoughts and analysis. Some of the personalities and dynamics between characters can be a bit subtle at times, maybe too subtle...

By the way, how are you finding the difficulty level? If it seems too low, I actually just updated the download to a newer version 2.078 where it's tweaked up a little. Your current saves are fully compatible and can be copied over. It sounds like you're playing at a fast pace so I dunno if maybe it's not an issue for you, but lately I've been watching some players who are "fight everything / do everything" type of players, who got really strong, so the fights seemed to end up being a bit too easy for them.

Hey LWG thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Yeah, the dialogue can sound a bit stiff at times, especially with the first few characters being generally more serious. At first, I was kind of supposed go with a more high fantasy/formal type of speech, but the game ended up more JRPG in every other aspect, so the dialogue sort of ended up somewhere in between, in a bit of no man's land.

As for their personalities, well... it's a complex issue but... let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if you don't sympathize with some actions of the main chars =)

Or if you just mean that their personality isn't fleshed out enough, then yeah it would've been more ideal if I could've spend a little more time with that too. I will say though that some more of their personalities can be seen through some flavor texts in talking with some NPCs.

Love all the winter themed extra bells and whistles around the text boxes and on the gamepage!
