Legends Of Illarion: Nostalgic Remaster Edition

Hey matski, thanks for playing this again!

X-Magic is mostly just Dark Elemental Spells and some other late game spells. It mainly exists only so I could put some spells in a seperate Command, since his main spell list was so long already.

You can only push people from their side or back only, so basically you have get your opponent to walk perpendicular to you, and then start pushing just as they step between you and an edge, and then keep pushing while their back is turned.

Kind of like this:

Hi matski, thanks for playing! Here is the solution in the spoiler tag below:

Road To Paradise - The Dragon

I got a "RGSS player stopped working" error twice, and both times it happened in battle while I was choosing skills for the dragon (fire).

I feel like you have an interesting world here, but the story delivery doesn't quite hit the mark. For example, the info dump given by the Time Dragon at the beginning is kinda ineffective, because we don't know any of the other people or other places he is talking about yet, and they have no meaning or context to the player yet, who's also not going to remember what was said. The same kind of goes for all the bookshelf lore being a bit too early to be meaningful.

On the other hand, a good example of delivery is when the second guys says to the main char "Let me guess, you think dragon kind shouldn't have shared magic with humans etc", and when the 2nd girl says to the princess "Oh you're from that place that thinks the dragons shouldn't rule" or something. These ones work better, because they tell me something about the world AND at the same time are relevant to the current characters and interaction.

I also like the Acolyte girl and her dialogue.

From one of the games in the Secret of Mana series, I think

Battle will not end, even after all enemies are dead, as show in the picture below.
As you can see, Attack is greyed out, and there is a empty space on the action order icons.

Another strange thing happened in this fight, which may be related. I had a dead Spirit of Pain, so I tried to sacrifice it but nothing happened. So then I cast another Spirit of Pain instead, and it seemed to revive the old one. Later, the spirit died and I tried to summon it again, but this time it did not work and I can't cast any other spirits either. Edit: Spirit is only alive in screenshot because I used an item to revive it.

Glad to hear you made it!

Mage Masher is the wrong skill. It doesn't lower enemy MP.

You need to use Malachin's MINIMIZE MAGIC on turn #2, NOT turn #1, because that is after the Hydra drinks the Mana Potion at the end of turn #1.

Ohh I guess you're talking about LOI2 as well...

You need to equip an Axe to use Axe skills, or equip Greatsword to use Greatsword skills. You can use RESET SP in the skill menu, if you need to choose your skills again. It's the same thing for all Melee characters.

Legends Of Illarion 2: Sins Of The Gods

You need to lower the Hydra's Mp on the turns after he drinks a mana potion. You can do this with Malachins sword skill or Oldras decay spell. He drinks mana potion every 4 turns so you might have to repeat those attacks.

Edit: Just to clarify, Malachin's sword skill is the one that lowers MAX MP, called Minimize Magic
