FELIXFLYWHEEL'S PROFILE

Hi, I compose video game music, make battle animations, assemble tilesets. Lots of sprite ripping and more for RPG Maker 2003, using my 2 handy tools, FL studio, and Photoshop. I'm always learning new things, and getting better at what I do. I work hard to surpass my limits. I am a perfectionist.

If you're interested in seeing the things I do, you can watch my videos on youtube.

If you need resources, here's a link to my photobucket. It has lots of battle animations and such, just for yoo! Please give credit though, if you're going to use them.

RPG Maker 2003 Help File Missing???

author=LockeZ
Yeah, to read old style help files in Windows Vista and newer versions of Windows, you have to install special software - the software that reads help files no longer comes with Windows.

This is Microsoft's "subtle" way of encouraging software designers to use their new help file format.

The link benos provided is correct. Scroll down to the Resolution section and pick the download that matches your version of Windows.
I did that... v_v it didn't work, it just changed the message that it shows. >_<;

There are different versions 64 and 86 version of windows. Not sure what you got.

I had some kind of rpgmaker2003 scare when my rpg2003.exe disappeared. Luckily had that backup.
I picked 64 'cause that's what my computer said when it told me to check to see. :O but... I'll be scared too if mine disappears. >_>

Don't worry I got that problem too, maybe check the compatiblity. I don't seem to able to access anything on it to make it work.

I know it's a cht(oops, don't think that's it) file or a hlp file.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 Check here i'll properly work with it to make mine enable itself too.

Edit: Worked.
Hey thanks! I'm gonna try that now :D

EDIT: v___v a different message comes up now... it says it can't open it

http://share.cherrytree.at/showfile-2488/rpg2003.hlpDownload this file and place it in your RPG Maker 2003's folder.
Thanks Cherry! Though, I checked my rpg maker folder, and I have the same file, but I found out it's because of my dumb windows 7 can't read those kind of formats. v_v

I don't know about rm2k3, but you can get the rm2k help file here. Rm2k3 is more or less the same bar a few differences.
Awe, thanks for that, but I just realized why I can't... It's because I got windows 7, and this version of windows can't open those kind of formats. -__-;;; I gotta find some program that will let me view them. >_>;

Leo & Leah: A Love Story

This is really really nice! I'm gonna be examining every detail in the mapping, 'cause I love doing that, and I really love that you used Flame Stag's background in the mountains! :)

RPG Maker 2003 Help File Missing???

Every time I click the 'HELP' button in RPG Maker 2003, it can never bring up any help window. It says it can't find it. Is there a help file I can download to put in the rpg maker folder?

EDIT: I realized I have the file in my rpg maker folder, but I just found out it's because I use Windows 7, and it can't read that kind of format. <_<; ... v_v'

RM2k3 - Organize Items?

Ohh... v_v

RM2k3 - Organize Items?

Is there any way to organize items in the game so they're not forced to be in the same position as they are in the item database list? It would make things so much more easier for me if I could organize them, like how you can in Final Fantasy.

I don't like having to put organize them in the Item list because I'm always thinking of new items, and I like them to be sorted by category.
