Haha. I didn't even notice that. I also realize that the female charsets are reverse in color to: one has blue hair and a brown dress, another has brown hair a blue dress.
But no, that charset is not the protagonist of my game. I was just using some chipsets (some of which I made, some of which I compiled).
Good catch! I did not recognize that either!
About my chipset...I can't necessarily explain exactly what it is, but I can say it is some kind of corroded, rusty, bloody dungeon-type place. :-\

"One of these things is not like the other, one of these things is not quite the same..."
Well aren't you the humorous one? :D

Dude, your screenshots have kickass overlays. I'll definitely be looking forward to this. Story kinda reminds me of Dead Space.

Monster's World: A Two-Winged Dragon
Asa's Tellahvision *SkyE reviewed!*
I would really appreciate it if you could try out Death Proclaimed and maybe the sequel if you are so inclined. http://www.rpgmaker.net/games/77/

Play Something! Day Results and Discussion Topic [August 1st, 2008]
ALTER AILA (uncompleted):
PROS:
- Storyline
The story is definitely a high point for this game. The real way it shines though is the fact that you can take different paths, giving an actual reason for a replay. The dialogue is also very well done. I really enjoyed seeing interaction between the characters. Also the twists were very well executed.
- DBS
The default battle system is there, yes, but it looks very stylish and polished up. The battle chars are very well made and I really liked the fact that each character had a single special skill attached to them instead of gaining any from experience. Also the battle music is pretty neat but gets a bit redundant.
CONS:
- Difficulty
The difficulty of this game, in my honest opinion, was a real knock out. It is really tough to breeze past the game without forcing yourself to level up several levels in order to beat a boss at the very end of the stage. This is the main reason I did not make it through the whole game.
OVERALL:
7/10 so far.
It isn't exactly the most unique RPG ever created, but its story sure is enough to make you want to get through the entire game. I would recommend this game.
BALMUNG CYCLE:
I did not get to play this one at all just yet. What? My whole life doesn't revolve around RPG playing, you know!
PROFESSOR MCLOGIC:
PROS:
- Original Humor
This game, made by Gibmaker, the maker of the Longing Ribbon, proves to be a rather humorous puzzle game, and it can really deliver.
- Style
This game proves to be very stylish in its atmosphere and its whole concept.
CONS:
- Difficulty
Professor McLogic almost had me in stitches because of its hardness. Most of the time I am guessing who is who, pulling my hair out at clues that have multiple possibilities even if I got other clues that are supposed to help me solve it.
OVERALL:
6/10
This is a nice, funny little puzzle game, and I recommend it to anyone who's willing to have a real braintwister and a nice laugh.
