[DEMO] Dread
DREAD
Carol, a young detective, decides to stay up late in her work department in order to
look over some articles about an infamous serial killer. A couple people decided also
to stay up late to help Carol look up as much research as possible about the killer.
Carol had recently read in a paper that the serial killer was loose in the very city
that she was in. This fact caused her to remain extremely nervous and immmovable
in her research, and she constantly feared that the killer would somehow break
into the department building.
Just as she predicted, something fishy was going on around the building. It is up
to you to find out who or what is causing the trouble.
This game does not focus highly on an amazing storyline or spectacular visuals. I am
making this game to get it out of my mind. It has sat there for months and collected
dust, and now it's heading out on RPG Maker.
This game requires you to hide in these areas when facing the killer (and I'm sure you saw
this coming :woop:): Sofas or tables. It is entirely up to you to find out the exact spot you can
hide in. Some areas you will not be able to hide under. If you are hit by the killer, your
fear meter increases. This meter acts as a health meter too. You use Compact Shots to
heal yourself.
Beware. Some hiding spots are completely useless and the killer will discover you easily.
Pick your hiding spot with great carefulness.
Your actions throughout the game (it can be anything from going to one place instead of the
other, going inside certain rooms, or getting certain keys, etc.) will determine each character's
fate later in the game; that includes you. :shady:
Later in the game you will receive a long stick, or 2 x 4 as I and many others would call it, which
you can use to knock out the killer when you enter a secluded room. Sometimes this action will
work, but sometimes the killer won't come through the doorway...
Updates/Features:
--- This game includes multiple endings that are executed depending on whose lives you are
able to save. It is possible to save all the characters' lives.
--- Difficulty mode Easy, Normal, and Hard have been added to the game. Completing hard
mode will give you the locations of the Special Items.
--- I may add some special items in this game that will help you against the killer.
They include:
-- The Cloaking Device has been accepted as a Special Item in the game. It will be
called simply the "Camoflaguer." :mellow: It is fully completed. However, be careful, if you bump into
the killer while you are camoflagued, the device may wear off temporarily.
-- Anesthetics (Which will revive you automatically if you happen to die) has been accepted and completed.
-- Pepper Spray (This item will temporarily stun the killer) has been accepted and completed.
-- More to come...maybe. If you guys have any suggestions, let me know.
The Characters:
The main character of the game. Carol is a young detective who lived under the job for a few
years. She is highly interested in investigating crime scenes, but never really got the chance
to inspect one in her puny city.

Carol's best friend. Adrian is also a detective who used to live in a city near Carol's. She is
sometimes shy and can be afraid easily.

A very weird fellow who likes to work in complete solitude. Sometimes he can act
extremely troubled when with anybody else. He sometimes predicts things that
are usually unappreciative.

Carol's husband. Shane is a strong-spirited man who decided to stay with Carol
late at night in order to look over her and make sure she doesn't stumble into any
trouble.

Just a note: This demo may have a couple of bugs or errors that I have to know about. I
want you guys to try this out and see if you come across any errors. Or..just enjoy what
I have so far. This game is NOT intended to be long. It is a short game that will have a lot
of replay value.

Wild Wings
A Parody of Silverwing, a book by Kenneth Oppel.
Storyline:
Shade, a young bat of the Silverwing colony, is ready to go on his first migration to Hibernaculum, the winter haven. But things do not turn out okay. A storm kicks in and knocks Shade away from his colony and he lands on an island he knows nothing about. After landing on the island, Shade forgets how to fly and thinks he cannot go back, until he meets a young Brightwing bat named Marina, who agrees to help Shade to get back to his colony. On the way, Shade meets a cast of strange characters. An albino bat with psychic powers; a cannibal vampire bat bent on raising his god; a fairy and a mysterious ring said to have ultimate power; and video game characters. What the heck? Will Shade ever make it back to his colony? Play and find out!
Cast:
Shade Silverwing:
Shade is a young bat who lives with the Silverwing colony. He is the "runt" of the colony and is not very popular either. He is chosen as the carrier of the Tetsu Ring, which contains ultimate power.
Marina Brightwing:
Marina was banished from her own colony because of the silver band she wore. She now lives as an outcast in the island with her robot companion, Robo. She then meets Shade and decides to help him on his quest to his lost colony.
Dick Tracey Silverwing:
Dick has been Shade's friend for a long time and serves as backup for Shade. He carries the power of Rage and Hate and this gives him strength during battle.
Jirek:
Local healer of Stone Hold, a roost for the Silverwing male bats. He goes missing once Shade arrives and supposedly wandered to the dangerous forests above. Jirek is very useful with healing issues, but his strength is undeniably questionable.
Creet:
A lieutenant of a small army organization whose purpose is to protect Stone Hold. Creet is very good with spears and is a fairly strong character that can be useful enough to join your party.
Renamon:
A Digital Monster character who was taken from her world and forced into Goth's legion of soldiers. Renamon is treated horribly by Goth's soldiers and seems to not be possessed by Goth unlike some other video game characters you will meet throughout Shade's adventure. Renamon is skillful with spears and fist weapons and carries an array of fairly strong skills.
Goth:
Goth is a vampire cannibal bat who lives in the humid jungles south of Shade's home.
He is destined to raise his god, Cama Zotz onto the Earth and needs the Tetsu Ring to do this. Goth does not know what he needs the ring for but searches for it anyway. He makes an army of Minions by opening a portal, taking video game characters away from their homelands and controlling their minds.

Death Proclaimed
~-=Storyline=-~
A young girl by the name of Alice is in an oblivious state. While living in peace with her
aunt, she had been getting a recurring vision that haunted her for months. Soon, Alice
starts to remember a town which she used to live in - her hometown.
Having enough of the constant nightmares and haunting visions, Alice sets out to find
out why the town is attracting her, and to find where her missing parents have gone.
Could they have gone to this strange town.
When she arrives to the forbidden town, what she sees before her is nothing she ever
wanted to see. Monsters now roam the town, mindlessly tracking her down and trying
to kill her. Alice has no choice but to keep going further into the forbidden town and over
time, finds out that her past has caught up with her and is about to rebirth itself in the
most unwanted way possible.
~-=Main Characters=-~
Alice ========== Age 20
A mysterious young girl who seemed to have lost a piece of her memory on her beloved hometown.
In a state of wonder, Alice travels to her former hometown, now "forbidden" to cross.
Clark ========== Age Unknown
A strange boy Alice finds at a graveyard. He seems to be rather optimistic and carefree, but
a bit rude as well. Who is this boy, and why does he seem alone?
Mary ========== Age 29
Alice finds this familiar woman under the home of a past mother. She seems extremely
insecure and scared of almost everything. Mary expresses her fear of fire the most, however.
Arnold ========== Age 25
Obsessed greatly in pain, Arnold is a very strange person Alice finds in an insane asylum. He is
freed to roam around the asylum, outside his cell, but he cannot leave the asylum for
a reason he does not seem to want to give.
Reed ========== Age 40
Alice finds Reed in the apartment complex. Reed is known as a rude and angry man and Alice
finds out that he was rumored to have kept dead bodies in his possession.
Ella ========== Age 30
The main priestess of the town's chapel. Ella is a very godly character who seems to carry
awkward hope in the situation she is in. Although very hopeful, Ella is also dead afraid
of a demonic force she rarely describes.
