I evn installed an rtp and still, same error. Where im i supposed to put the rtp? In the same folder as the game? Maybe rhe reason is something else? I have no idea honestly. This happens to ALL rpg tskuru 2003 games i try to play :(

You need the correct RTP!

So 2015 - is full game and 2021 is only demo?

Both is a "Demo", the newer one is a bit more polished and a bit shorter.
But I really had to sell all my old gear and bombs to get the best gear available for the boss.

But you need to know that my AV had problems with the newer version and you have to copy the Audio and System folders as well as all those files around the game.exe from the old version.
This will disable the new battle hub but you can play the new version.

Guide Version 0.4.1
Bug Report

I was a bit disappointed of the level cap, but for a demo it was ok.
In my guide you see how I tackled problems with bosses.

As you really get so many different items from the Village fountain, I was really disappointed that the Cathedral fountain has only 3 different draws.

I only grinded there to get money for Rusty Coins.

Finished.

One thing though: I was pretty certain that I only found 1 Bronze Key in Aldwyn Forest-West but still had another one for the Bronze Chest in Aldwyn Cave.

Perhaps sometimes you will pick up that game again.
Thanks for your review! You did play the older version though (2015) but that's alright, feedback is always welcome :)

No, this was the March Version, it was different from the 2015 Version, which was longer.
But it could be because of the AV problems.
I had to copy the Audio and System Folder as well as all those missing files around the game.exe from the 2015 Version.
The game ended for me once Seyfer leaves the party.

Sadly my Virus Scanner deletes the game.exe of the full version. Please make a new upload.
That's strange. It should not happen, because it's compiled normally. There's no virus in it.
I've had it happen lately too, with my windows defender complaining about regular VX Ace game .exes, about them being "unsafe", but there's nothing wrong with them.

Your antivirus should be able to put the game.exe back/out of quarantine. I could reupload the game, but it'll probably still go off on your antivirus scanner.

I tried to put it out of quarantine but it still will be quarantined again. There is no option to allow that file. I really tried.

Edit: I copied the Audio/System folders as well as all additional files like the game.exe from the demo. I will see how far I come with this.

The frame rate goes down in the forest due to the light.
Does turning off 'Special Effects' in the options menu help? :)
That helps, and since a beta for another game I close my internet browser while playing MV and MZ games.
So at least those games don't crash anymore because of the memory leak.

I am nearing the end (only the boss in the cathedral is still undefeated) but curious if the special fountain has a secret.

If not I will tackle the final boss and post two links here.
A guide and a bug report (yeah, there are bugs).

Final Fantasy: Chronicles of Eno

Serious Bug Warning

In Chapter 2 after you have entered the Poronton Town Square, don't return to the docks or your screen turns permamently black.
You can heal and save at the inn instead.

A fix will be up with the next update.

Another advice:

Don't change the Message Speed to "Instant" in options or some texts will only flash by too fast to read.

Another annoying bug (will be fixed with the update):
Mika will level up once too early at the end of chapter 1 and so breaking the balance. Please send your next save file after that boss to the developer for fixing.

Tonight the devs will upload a updated download that will address a total of 3 critical bugs (those mentioned here and a missing file).

Some questions:
Why don't I earn EXP?
I nearly died during the surprise attack, even with using my collected potions and ethers before the last two battles.
At least let me grind for more money, but there are no random encounters at the docks.

Are only some of the cutscenes different for the chosen party leader or more?
Currently playing as Ni Ethil and collecting bugs and typos while writing a guide.
For the first question, levels are a progress-oriented thing, while increasing stats beyond what is designated is determined by two things; gil and skill shards. Grinding for gil will become easier once the world map unlocks, which you can do during the 'snowy M'Rasu' segment by examining the map in Leran Kane's throne room when it glows. The opening is somewhat linear (FF7 style, M'Rasu is our Midgar) but it opens up when you unlock the map. If you miss said map you'll be locked in until Chapter 2 opens up the world map anyway.

You can also do some grinding in the cultist hideout and M'rasu grasslands dungeons. Particularly the latter since you should be more equipped and able to deal with basic enemies by then. There's also the M'Rasu city map, though encounters there aren't the most common.

As for skill shards, they are gained by killing enemies on the world map and completing side quests. They boost your general stats depending on the type of shard required (health, power etc.), and help combat enemies in your current level range. Get enough and you can tackle higher-level areas, though that's optional and most you will be able to come back and do later in the story. The exception is endgame dungeons, which go WAY beyond max level depending on the zone, and skill shards will be required to be able to tackle them.

For the second question, cutscenes are mostly the same no matter the character leading the party. Cutscenes only change if you tackle side quests with or without certain party members currently present.

Any bugs and typos found and reported are appreciated! Still being in development, we're always searching for errors to patch up.

Thanks, so I will play further then.
My Bug Report and Guide, I will update it while playing.
