Hey sorry I thought I added all the necessary resources to play without the RTP, but never got around to testing it. I think the game was actually built with the unofficial version of Rm2k3, which may be why you're having trouble. I wasn't aware of the different versions when I made the game page, and the game was actually a project I started in 2005. I've updated the game profile to accurately reflect the game's engine. You may want to try the rtp available on "http://crankeye.com/?page=downloads". Let me know if it works out for you.

author=ExtremeDevelopmentThanks, yeah all the stuff on the B layer are rtp graphics i pixelated earlier in development, then I decided to take advantage of VX ace's higher resolution. Still a long way to go, it'll probably go through a few more transformatons...
I like where you are going with it, though graphics do need a bit more work. Some of them don't match well with each other.

Try putting your new ideas into your old projects, as mini games, or side quests. Doing that has helped me stay faithful to one project.
It may also be a good idea to keep your goals/projects to yourself. Don't show anyone your game until it's nearly done, or you could get a false sense of accomplishment when everyone tells you how cool your game looks (or get discouraged from negative feedback). Derek Sivers the creator of CD baby suggested this in this TED talk.
