it does run at 60 fps, you can press f5 within the game and select the "show fps" setting, it'll allow you to confirm that on your end

second what darken says, although there are easier ways to do this:

for an animation that has 6 frames and you want to play at half speed, put the first frame on frame 1, last frame on frame 12, hit "Tweening" to connect those frames

now for animations that are more complex than that and cant be done with tweening,
if you press "insert" it will duplicate the current frame below. So you can work up from the last frame, doing this. Select the last frame of the animation, hit "insert", press up, repeat until you've doubled every frame. This works super quick for me. :))

also both him and i are going to participate on the global game jam with a lot of other devs i know also, it'll be fun, they're making an lgbt+, pro feminist jam site so of course i'll be there

but who knows, maybe a small game about a race of animalomorphic owls would be interesting to make

Goals:
-work smarter
-actually make money
-save momey
-forget about commercial games make games for fun

things i hated about 2018:
-i worked dumb
-i made too little money
-i didnt save money

things nice about 2018 i wanna do again sometime but definitely not this year because it goes against this year's goalsd and it will prevent me from saving money and will thereofre trigger my anxiety besuse not having moiney makes you not b e able to be productive and healthy because all you think about ios how every step you take must lead to the generation of more money and your ability to sustain yourself:

-courses, i did an amazing painting course that was amazing
-vacationing, i spent 20 days in an apartment with my buddy ol' crowno and it was awesome but m'boi vacationing in são paulo as culturally enriching (thats where i was able to do the painting course) its expensive for poor ass current me

i wrote too much but basically i just want to functoin

i still don't understand why people feel so strongly about these things, it's not like someone made a game with sample maps, put it on steam and hijacked your credit card to force you to buy it

Hahah yeah!!! I feel the same about my own projects, time just WHOOSHes and we're BLOOPed
Nevertheless, I'm thankful you're still around doing stuff no matter how you decide to do it, and definitely MV is a better choice for an expanded remake of PB :D

pretty sure this is one of the things, if not the main thing, that inspired desert nightmare:

also you could pick a theme literally nobody has done before and still make it 100% unoriginal, so picking a theme should be less about "originality" (as it, really, isn't) and more about picking a theme people like, relate to, feel challenged by etc

aw I voted in fallout before seeing the OP. I'd like to see that in more of a Parasite Eve kinda game rather than a Silent Hillish one. For the latter, definitely melancholic permarain would be my choice.

Sandstorm brings me Desert Nightmare / PEII to mind though
