There's not much to see in playmode after the intro sadly ; 3 ; there's a LOT of stuffies crammed in there, but it's mostly unused / unconnected

i like the rmnrtp as well, and i can definitely help by being bossy and forcing guidelines down everyone's throats WELP

no but really, it'd be fun
we could even have multiple templates / guidelines / samples people could pick and submit to, i feel a flat color / pastel with minimalistic textures would yield the most submissions alTHOUgh i'm obviously on the interest of making texturey late snes-y stuff

Also as a slight nitpick, I'd move the interface stuff SLIGHTLY just so that all pixels align! I think you actually just have to move the PULSE/BEAT info one pixel to the right.

love it very mucho and the color range is so comforting, though it's weird that the blacks of the sprite are lighter and colder than the blacks on the tileset

but yeah time fantasy is color-wise rather hard to work with ovurall i luv it

You know what? Screw it. I'm doing this anyway. My half may not be any good, as I've lost a lot of possible dev-time on it. However, things have settled down a bit.

That, and the fortnight that would make up the second half should be a lot less wonky.

Plus, even if you don't think your half is "any good", even a first half that was worked on for only 30 minutes still provides precious setup and inspiration for the 2nd dev :D
