I'd go for style C, the one with facesets. It'd certainly look nicer with front view in 2k3. Also, I believe it's the one used in akropolis itself.

Just to make myself crear (Something I'm awful at), I meand creating something to add onto what we already have. To create adittional graphics, but to leave the already existing intact. Just to add a littl bit of diversity, for... 10 like monsters for a 8 chaoter game is kinda too little, don't you think?

I'd go for XP, too.
Even tough I hate the huge resolution, it's just because it's harder to make graphics for it. xD
VX is awesome. Undoubtedly, I do think it's better than XP in terms of possibilities. BUT, in fact, XP is far easier / simpler to create something decent. Yeah, I'm basically retyping what KingArtur has said, so...

Hey, what about editting the chipset, but fitting the style? (And the palette?)
Also, not reusing monsters and monster groups is definately not complicated. We can always copy&paste the existing ones to give the continuity feel without messing up with prior chapter's stuff. Can I take slot 4?

What are you thinking about right now?

o be honest the one thing that bugs me about it is that it uses the dull old 2D graphics. They did a 3D port to the DS, so why can't they do a 3D version for the PSP? Ahwell, if it makes 'em more money I guess they'll make it.

But, you see, FFI&II DID have awesome graphics, in the PSPort. 2D, but STILL awesome. I love 2D. FFIV IS a 2D Game, and it's risky to try again to portrait it in a 3D envioirment (Or whatever, my english is... Awful.), while FFI and FFII clearly were purrefekt!

I dunno, I'm aganist the 3Dization of games, for the most part. >:

I absolutely *adore* Akropolis. So I loved this idea. Really. And Lennon's idea seems fine! I like it, too.

How'll the database be handled? Stuff like heroes and skills and growth rates are pretty persistant fellows that will carry from one segment to another. Are there any rules for them?

I guess each participant could ad up to x items / skills / etc. in each chapter, while still reusing the previous ones? That seems pretty fair to me, but... Mm.

What are you thinking about right now?

Ouch.
This annoys me.
People brag about FFI and FFII being milked to death. And FFVII. They then say things like "FFX-II is horrible, why bothering making a sequel?" Then they go "They should also prestige the SNES classics, they're awsome!"

And now,
NOW THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT TOO MANY PRODUCTS BEING MADE OUT OF FFIV.
Geez,
It's natural, and it's not bad! What's the problem with that? They'll do so with FFV and FFVI too, I'm sure! Enough complaining, it's good to have so many versions, for... They're all fun and different. At least a little. People complain too much about this. :C

Especially on Brazil. That being said, that comment was not directed to any of you, at all.

~~Also, curse the barrier language, I need real english classes. And Skype.
