RMN's Australian Christmas
Dropped a thing into this. I couldn't remember if 2K3 uses frames as a unit of measurement for wait commands, or seconds. I went with my gut instinct, which was seconds.
2022 Misao nomination monthly data
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition Misao monthly data to be on time!
So, yeah, maybe it's a liiiiiittle early this month. Either way, we've climbed nomination count by 4, reaching a total of 93!
*Edit: November and December were both really big months last year. Will they be again this year? We shall see!

Resurrect the Dying
The thing I did for this is recorded in this blog. I didn't set up a separate download specifically for this event, so, the main download's where it's at.
*Edit: I think I mentioned this earlier, but, I feel it's achievement enough to get this much done for the game in such a small space!

Team JethKo - Knee Deep
I checked your itch page, and the download size there lists the file at 454 MB. The site's server will only accept downloads less than, or equal to, 450 MB...
...but, you can still add a download through Manage Games to refer to your itch page. When adding a new download, use the "URL" box and point it to... maybe this link?

Resurrect the dying? But what if my gamedev ambitions are already dead?
What seems to be the problem with my game submission?
Yep. It was totally the youtube link that was breaking. Also, a bit of modification to result in...
...this. Though, I kinda want to suggest moving the soundtrack and character sections into a new tab, but, that's a personal nit-pick.

Story:
Jethro is fed up. He doesn't want to interview more D-celebrities for this smear sheet, for which he is hired as a writer. He's after a big story again. Then he hears of mysterious murders of young women plaguing Chillcottin City. It's high time he reunited with his old pal, Aoko, to stir up the underworld of Chillcottins and the tech company that runs the place.
The world:
Chillcottin City is located where New England and the majestic Sequoia forests meet the Rocky Mountains, the Great Plains and the Bayous. The city is ruled almost dictatorially by a tech mogul, Robert E. Ternel, who even has ambitions to be crowned the new mayor.
Robert E. Ternel's corporation dominates the entire urban economy with its cybernetic and genetic engineering products. The nebulous religious fanatic Mr. Person Man is also said to be in cahoots with him.
Characters:
Jethro Adimari, 33, is a passionate journalist and a failure. His wife Michelle loves him, although he is self-pitying and generally not the brightest. His wife doesn't like the fact that he spends so much time with Aoko when he's feeling adventurous again.
Aoko Kitamoto, 27, is an unemployed justice fighter waiting to use violence against the good-for-nothing again. She loves video games, pop culture, being out of work, and violence.
And many more quirky Chillcottin originals!
Features:
* Approximately 4 hours of hard-hitting puzzle action with challenging battles!
* Limited save options!
* Humor!
* Things to find but also to miss!
* High score will be shown to you at the end of the thing!
* Hand drawn stuff!
* Backgrounds were cobbled together using state-of-the-art AI technology!
* Totally wacky characters!
* A love story??

Personal asides:
"When you look into the nostalgia long enough, the nostalgia will look back at you!" Team JethKo - Knee Deep is a detective adventure with role-playing elements and turn-based combat.
What started as a small project turned into a huge thing that took almost a year of work. In this game I put ideas into action that have accompanied me since my teenage years and have now become reality.
Graphics (apart from facesets and backgrounds), music and story come from me again.
In this concoction, I celebrate the cartoons and the music of the 90s and Americana. I also wanted to promote the Artbreeder website with the backgrounds and facesets. The focus of this thing is on humor and very far-fetched mysteries. I hope you enjoy the game.
This game takes it's inspirations from Sam & Max, The Tick, Duckman, Hotline Miami 2, grunge, funk metal, nu metal, rave, hip hop, and jungle.
...this. Though, I kinda want to suggest moving the soundtrack and character sections into a new tab, but, that's a personal nit-pick.

As a person who has overseen the game description thread for a number of years, I can at least say that if your post above represents how your game description was formatted, then, yeah, it's gonna get denied. The site has it's own built-in word-wrap. The hard returns at awkard places have no place in a description, unless the text is relaying a poem. Which, I get the impression, is not the thing that is happening.
Of course, it's also possible that you might have something in the description that's messing things up to cause what appears to be a run-on sentence. However, as I can't see a description on an unaccepted gamepage, I would like to see a copy-paste of what was written, and maybe I can figure out what, exactly, went wrong.

Resurrect the Dying
If it was a sentence, I might consider "The pain in which you engraved upon my heart that day." Especially for a character that likes to embellish their phrases. As a game-title, that might garner a few nominations for "Best Game Title", as "Our Market Research Shows..." would agree with, and/or indicate. However, as an overall favorite, I'd kinda go with #5.

Demo of content up to the end of Chapter 3!
This post might technically want to be it's own blog/announcement, but, here it is anyway. The game's main-line content up to the game's conclusion is now available!
However, now comes the optional content. For now, I'm gonna take a break from gammak through the rest of the month. Maybe longer. Whenever I pick this up next, I will probably want to organize the calendar of events that I drew up, with the NPCs that I want to respond to it. Also, while I hope no glitches or bugs exist, I would be receptive to reports of such.
