Oh my gosh, can SOMEONE help me remember an old RM2K game? This is driving me crazy!
This would be the link, since the '&' character is not transposing correctly from a written-out URL.
*Edit: If you're not finding it within those results, you may attempt to ask through this thread? Might be more useful if you could remember more about it, though.

[Poll] What's the most annoying status effect in Final Fantasy history? (of the ones listed here)
I find myself annoyed at any state that removes character control. That obviously includes dead/unconscious, though that state can generally be regulated by healing. I can only roll my eyes at enemies that cast Doom, or any variant thereof (ie: Level 5 Doom) though. Either it's just me, or the affliction rate of Doom is always better for enemies than it is for party-characters? Though, Odin is usually more accurate in it's death application. I really like FF7's Odin switching to physical damage when facing a boss. The summon retains usefulness, where the instant death it would normally apply is irrelevant due to the boss' immunity to that state.
Back to the original statement, I would also include sleep, paralyze/stun, petrify/stone, berserk, and confuse into the mix of "states that remove character control". Confuse is probably the worst offender. It not only removes control from the player, the afflicted character is set to automatically attack other allies!
Confuse and sleep tend to be removed after the afflicted character takes damage (this might include poison damage, I don't remember), and some games do allow for allies to smack each other upside the head for precisely this purpose. Though, it might be possible, in games that allow attaching elemental attributes to weapons and armor (mostly thinking FF 10, here), to heal a character by smacking them this way. Still, removing those kinds of states is annoying as hell.

2022 Misao nomination monthly data
I should specify that a game that existed prior to the current year has to add a download link to qualify said game for the current year's Misaos. If Sgt M updated an old download link to Soma Union, it would not qualify. This is also how Weird and Unfortunate Things are Happening achieved Misaos in multiple years.
Comparing between the gamepages of Sophia & Shire and The Alley, the only difference I can detect is that Sophia & Shire is not flagged as "complete"? I'll have to compare against other gamepages to see if this difference is consistent to say with more certainly.
*Edit: After viewing five or so games that are in production and have a download that were also able to be nominated none of them have the option to nominate for the "Sleeping Beetle Ninja" award. This makes me consider that this "bug" might be on purpose. Though, I can only theorize as to possible reasons why it might have been implemented this way.

Swap in 3 Middle with Who?
Initial release of Isle of Dread is go! There's still plenty of time to make changes to it, but, I'm pretty happy with it as-is.
*Edit: For what it's worth, I'm trying to put together a playlist of the Swap 3 games. It's a thing I've started to do recently with events I'm involved in. Though, such a playlist wouldn't hurt in regards to the Misao thread.

i know you can't fit an entire paragraph in this tiny status bar, but if i could, i'd totally type for as long as I possibly could. I mean, holy crap, it's like 7 sentences so far and the status bar still hasn't reached its text limit. What an achievement
2022 Misao nomination monthly data
i know you can't nominate commercial games for Misaos, but if i could, i'd nominate "Prayer of the Faithless" for the Not Dead Yet Award. I mean, holy crap, 7 years in the making and it turned out brilliant. What an achievement.
It's been a number of years since it became possible for a gamepage to be tagged as a commercial game to begin with. I don't recall what the negotiations looked like, but, it's possible one of the items of negotiation was to disallow commercial games from the Misaos. I think the fear back then was that commercial games would, in general terms, consistently outshine the free games that exist?
For what it's worth, I would agree that, at this point, commercial games are as part of the site as non-commercial games. They should be able to be nominated for Misaos. However, I have no idea what it would take for them to be able to be nominated. Like, I'm pretty sure Liberty asked ankylo for commercial games to be able to be nominated sometime last year. Yet, here we are, still unable to do it. I dunno if he's just super-busy, or if it's super-hard to pull off, or if it's some combination of the two.
I kinda wish I could help anky. Or, at least, understand the general process of how it could (or could not!) get this to happen. However, I'm just a small-time hack. ;_;

Yeah, I kinda get you. This year has been pretty hard on the Misaos in general, from what I'm seeing. Alas, the most I can do at this point is put it into the Misao thread. At the very least, if we do off-site voting again, I would see it included in the list for "The kentona Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Commercial Excellence".
Does anyone remember RMN? (Remembering RMN)
They had the best welcoming line. XD
