Lost Legacy: An Animania Story
Hmm, one of the testers was having problems where her computer wasn't updating the files properly. I don't know if this is a Windows problem, or an RPGMaker problem. My advice is to download the 'main download' from the download page, the one currently marked as 'offsite', which is not megaupload, and install it fresh. You can import any save files from Patch #5 if you have them. I look further into it when I get home.

You want quality role models as far as puns go, you want to look at the Marx Brothers. Or Shakespeare. But Shakespeare's work a lot better if you know Victorian slang, and realize how practically everything any character says is some sort of reference to the genitals, or sex. "Country matters" indeed.

But yes, the Marx Brothers are great for all sorts of humor. So is this beautifully funny movie. It's been called a modern day Marx Brothers movie. Not surprising, since it was inspired by 'A Night at the Opera'.
I tend to stay away from cabbage, by the way, unless it's been boiled. Too many bad experiences I'd rather not recount, and you'd rather not hear. >_>

So how much time do you spend on the bright shiny box?
8 hours a day at work. 4 hours a day, on average, at home, on the weekdays. 2 hours a day on the weekend.
So 64 hours per week on average. That's a lot. No wonder I have bad eyesight and bad carpals.

I went back and looked over my initial post on this topic, and realized, 'Yeah, MayorAnime, that was pretty hostile, some of the stuff you said. Act your age.'
A few of the comments made (here and else-Topic) got me worked up, and if I have directly attacked anyone or been overly aggressive, I sincerely apologize.

What amazes me is how much this snow-balls...like I think the skill people need to learn here is not "Don't make a comment that is slightly off-topic..." so much as it is, don't comment on posts that are off topic so much that the focus shifts to them.

When you're in a community where about 90% of the participants have ADHD (primarily inattentive in most cases) and (to pull a number out of thin air) 20% are on marijuana, your topics are going to get derailed. It's just a byproduct of....'scuse me, I forgot I was supposed to be researching some programming topics for my latest project at this moment.
I think that this sums up the problem, from a community stand-point, indubitably well. Unfortunately, you can't justifiably punish someone for being young or having ADHD, OCD, PCP (-sob-), so you have to wait until they actually screw up.
