Hey, my name is Fredrik.
During the days I run a small game company with some friends.
On my spare time I like to tinker on weirder smaller stuff. In the past I've made some Gameboy games and I often participate in the Charas Community Games .
Here I will post and share everything I do with rpg maker.

I really like the demon guy in the blue Jean long jacket. That set is actually overall among my favorites. I imagine a modern Dante's Inferno where Virgil is a demon and guides Dante through a dystopian hell. Very cool!
Yeah, me too. Been wanting to make a game with them since I drew the first character. But been having a real hard time making tilesets that matches the style.

By the way, were these all unreleased to others? I thought I saw something like the Skeleton Merchant in one of the IGMC games.
I've posted most of these gifs on other places. I guess someone could have disassembled it and made a charset from it. You remember what game it was?

You should finish more games.
But it's so hard!

Here's a bunch of stuff. Mostly from old unfinished/scrapped projects.
In this game you played as kid who got sucked into a hell dimension through his closet. You had to fight some mage to get back home.
A random skeleton + the player:
Player getting sucked into a portal:
Skeleton merchant:
Alchemist skeleton:
Smoking skeleton:
Skeleton mages:
Imps:
Potion golems:
Avenging spirit:
Lesser doppelganger:
Bomb ghouls. These guys were suppose to walk around on stilts in a river of blood. If you got to close they would throw bombs at you.
A boss:
In this game you played as a creature walking around in a gas mask. You had crash landed on a planet and had to fight phantoms of your old crew members to unlock new skills.

Grimps: A Christmas Puzzle Review
While I don't see why the game would be less worthy because it's short it was nice reading the review. Thank you for sharing your feedback.
I do agree with your views on the boss. It's the weakest point of the game in my eyes. I had more planned for it, I wanted change up the patterns and the level layout more than just speeding it up. But it was the last thing I did and I kinda run out of time if I wanted to get the game out before Christmas. Maybe I'll go back and fix it later, but most likely I'll just move on to other stuff :P

What are your long-term plans as a game developer?
I just want to make a bunch of small games and throw them out into the ether. Got no real desire to make money of them. If the situation ever changes and I feel the need to try to make a living of it I would probably go donation or the patreon way and still keep the games free.

Honestly you could make a game called Grimps and just do a bunch of different themes like this one. Each world could be a different species under attack and maybe at the end they could all work together to defeat them. Family friendly puzzles are most welcome.
The game worked quite well. I would have reviewed it if I didn't think there was so much potential for this one.
I just felt the need to say that, cause this was such a cozy game.
Yeah, I think it got potential. But I just really don't like making big games. Usually I get bored half way through and it starts feeling more like work than a fun hobby project.

Cool game! Great graphics and animation, & what is not to love about the epilogue scene over the credits, haha.
Thank you, Suzy.

Played it. Loved it. Could made a full sized game out of this one. Lots of fun! Also loved the music.

This game felt perfect, for what it is. I especially liked the event movement and custom screen transition. I would write a 5 star review I wasn't so damn lazy(I actually tried).
Thank you! I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
