How game doin?
Well, long story short, both me and Giznads have important things going on in our lives, so it's on hiatus until we can give it the attention it deserves. Right now, neither of us wants to rush it to completion just to have something out there.
Tumbling Apart has been greenlit! Thank you so much for the support!

It's okay, Mirak. It's just Squall's deathbed delusion. He died from the Edea attack at the end of Disc One, and from then on it's his fantasy.
His... final fantasy.
"Build your (final) fantasy" might just be the best RMN quote, precisely due to this dual meaning (and due to the way both meanings historically tended to hold true.)
EDIT: Checked the previous page. Really sorry to hear about that, Libby. It's now nearly a decade since I lost my own aunt to cancer. She's had it for several years, but kept it secret until her last few months. Not sure I can say anything else.
FEAR & HUNGER - TEASER DEMO + INTERVIEW
Wouldn't it be more convenient for everyone if you were to do this through SurveyMonkey or something?
Devlog #1: Moving forward. Standing still.
Have you heard of VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action? If not, I think you might find it quite helpful, since it really nails the whole "bartering as a way to connect with people... and getting dragged into their personal storylines" part, as evidenced by its sales and near-perfect userscore.
So, a terrorist attack just happened in my city
Thank you all for your support! I've actually had to take a tram soon after writing this. There were extra above-ground public transport vehicles on the streets to compensate for the entire metro network being shut down (for good reason, since they found several additional bombs there). All the working public transport was also made free. There were the people who didn't yet know, and were confused by this sudden generosity, with no-one inside having the heart to explain what happened...
At least, they seem to have already identified the person responsible (a suicide bomber) so that's something.

I wasn't anywhere near it, thankfully, and none of the people I know personally were as well. Condolences to the victims, and hope the number of fatalities won't increase. Otherwise, all that's left now is to endure, hoping the perpetrator will soon be found. That is probably all.
WHICH TEAM IS YOUR TEAM?
When I first saw this status, I immediately assumed RBG Colors became the featured game.
And as for the team...I'll just let my avatar's dominant palette speak for itself.

Like, I don't usually blame people for being dull, but it's like Castlevania II's color palette in my life right now. Amuse me.
OK, at the risk of beating a dead horse, here's something that might spark a discussion again. It's been practically two weeks since The Tenth Line released. I finished watching the full playthrough of it a couple days earlier, to see if I was misguided, and my opinion of it would change.
By and large, it didn't. Well, I'll say that the level design gets much better in later areas, and they look a lot better as well (or perhaps the graphics just grew on me the way the music did.) However, the combat stays at largely the same level (here's a non-story sidequest boss battle as an example), and the writing is similarly mixed. The secondary lore and conversations continue to be largely good, but the main plot generally just gets worse and worse, until it somehow reaches a nice, if somewhat anticlimactic, ending.
In an earlier thread, when I was memorably accused of giving the demo "a zero", I clarified it was more of a 2.5/5 then anything else. Having seen the full game, I find 3/5 more appropriate. Either way, I still think it had the potential to be more then what it ended up as.
