Maximus Jones Review
McGuffin is a pretty good pun! Also, this game actually sounds weirdly similar to the far more recent The Bridge Tolls For Me, which I reviewed a couple months ago, since both are puzzle-heavy & have junk food as their ultimate goal. I wonder what you would think of it in comparison to this game.
Memories From The Black Rose Beta v.001 Review
Oh, I wanted to review this game all the way back in 2015 when it first came onto here! However, it glitched out on me very soon back then (some light effect thing during the 2nd flashback), and so I just subscribed to see if it would get updated eventually, and then promptly forgot about it since nothing else happened. Nice to see someone did beat it, though it's a pity game itself never got finished.
(2017) RMN Birthday Event Ideas
Both Badaptation II and Smashers and Bash sound great to me. For reference, here's what was cooked up for the last Badaption contest, just so that people don't accidentally do the same thing twice. (Btw, a few of those short games are still unreviewed today.) It's a pretty eclectic mix, and I am hoping it would get even better if it's chosen again and there's double the time available. We could see The Art of The Deal: The Game, or something else equally out there.
Review Kingdom
Something else people might find useful: search parameters that only give you downloads for the most recent completed games. Using them generally shows you about 10 unrevieweds per page.
Review Kingdom
Yes, Yes, YES! Looking at unreviewed games to give them love and/or feedback is basically what I have been doing since the start of the year, so it's great to see an event encouraging other people to do the same! Now, my life is busier now then it was before April, but I should still manage a good performance here. Will probably continue my trend of focusing on the old and forgotten games from the early days of RMN to ensure they get the love they (occasionally) deserve and to avoid getting in anyone else's way. (Exception: Nakaishi Wars, which I promised to Marrend would be my 100th review, and which currently has 1 review for its 2016 demo by pianotm, so I would really appreciate it if nobody else beats me to the punch on that one.)
EDIT: Read through the posts above and realised NW would still count for me even if it gets like 5 more reviews, so yeah, it wouldn't be a big deal.
EDIT2: It would be really fun if several people could altogether review one of the several dead multiplayer games on here. Something like Friendly Fire, for instance, or Puyo Puyo VS. Making them come alive again briefly, to see if they were ever worthy of sustained existence.

[RMXP Blizz-ABS Game] 'The Game' Demo
Honestly, I thought real-time random encounters were quite unique & pretty cool; better then the regular room battles (especially given their respawn). There could've been more improvements, sure, but now I do wish for a full game with a similar system, even though I usually dislike real-time combat in RM.

Currently play-testing and brainstorming what area I can improve on for my horror adventure game Stitched
Some ideas came up:
- Gallery mode
- Additional cutscenes
- Additional characters to deepen the story
- More enemy types
Well, all of these sound good, obviously (especially the last one, since I always find enemy variety a significant advantage for any game), but it's clearly too general-sounding to say anything else.

I don't remember the reason i joined this site. I don't like making rpg's at all. This is why i only got one game up in here, because i made it for the sole event that kind of opened the "if you don't make rpg's that's fine" opportunity for me....Like, i know a few events we've had have also SORT OF given the green light to "not rpg" games but when you're the only one not making an rpg in a mostly rpg-focused crowd you stand out, and not in a good way.
Erm, this month's stats are out now, and out of the top 25 downloaded games, only 8 or so can actually be described as RPGs. So...

We'll very likely have another on in the future, but this time might include some RM-clone-type engines for those who want to make RPGs.
OHRRPGCE, here we go! Just discovered this one exists, and there's certainly fun to be had with it. (Also, to dovetail with my earlier point, it seems like most games created for it are not RPGs either.)

Random Number Generation or Random Number Generator, depending on context.
Random Number God as well.

Speaking of events...would anyone else like to see (B)adaptation II contest for the RMN Birthday this year? After all, it certainly resulted some hilarious game ideas last time around, and since there'll be double the time available (10 hours vs. 5), these ideas might well develop into something quite awesome.
