Video game tunes that get stuck in your head often?
That's really nice, I can see that being catchy - and I always wanted to check out /play Threads of Fate >__< but never found it anywhere...

author=CazHmm.. I kinda got the gameboy version of this in my head... : )
I thought everyone eternally had Dr. Wily's Castle stuck in their head so I didn't mention. XD
Caterpillar Script for Horror Games?
Ah, I remember the game's name - it was "Corpse Party" .

But I remembered it incorrectly... the characters do spawn out of the main character and don't caterpillar after all... ' 3 ' )

Hehe~ nobody would argue I suppose. ^^ (cutesy sample pics btw.)
But there is no issue here - as you probably have read by now, the surreal- and alien look was exactly what we were looking for in this game ; ) hence the desicion.
Our previous picture was similar like your sample, but we had to reject it XD

Caterpillar Script for Horror Games?
Mmm well... a rather famous RPGmaker horror game (something with a school..? forgot the title) uses a caterpillar script (or lets the character follow via select move route, maybe), but then again, there are at most 2 characters on the screen I guess..
I could also imagine it with 3 characters tho, and I don't think it would take away too much from the horror atmosphere if the game's well made...

Aww, don't you love scary things? XD Because we do~! <3
Especially with Alice in Wonderland type of setting. ^^
In fact we actually had a more classic bishoujo manga approach on the character design at first,
with normal young girl anatomy and face etc, but, did not like it ; P.
( It was drawn by a very talented, experienced artist, too - but just didn't fit the game's weirdness. )
The current avatars / facesets come from an artist that usually does more surrealist watercolor works with really curious shapes and colors.
Thanks for the compliment on the spritework tho.

author=CashmereCatMe making the in-game puzzle console for Lexical Node. Try to figure out what it all means. Hint: It's a spoiler.
I.. I am clueless... is it a terminal that displays a map..? or, maybe some circuit you have to connect with tetris-like blocks..? ^^
