That is incredible.
Two minor things. The menu that shows "Attack, Skills, etc" is a few pixels higher than the other menu box. Also, I'm not sure why one menu box has a single gradient going through it, while the larger one is divided by the characters battle information. The gradient on the left is also a tad darker than the other.
But man, those characters and background are really nice.

To get back on topic, heres a project I currently have on hold. Basically its an oldschool RPG set in a really weird digital world. Graphics 100% original (except for the background). Made in RPG Maker VX.

There's also Everlong, which is about a 20-40 hour game. I've only played through a bit of it, but it's actually pretty good from what I played.

author=Darken link=topic=1503.msg24723#msg24723 date=1216671822No, it's not that big of a deal. This is the reason why some of you miss out on some of the best games ever made. You seem to be judging a game by its cover, and not its content(bad analogy, but you know what I mean).
But somehow it's officially the latest rm2k3 trend. Whether or not you want your graphics to be part of an overused cult is a pretty big deal.
If you can at least put some effort into editing the graphics (besides color changing) then it probably won't be as bad.There are more than just Rudra rips in those two screenshots.
Anyway, I'll be back when there are...you know....SCREENSHOTS in this topic. I feel like I'm wasting space replying here, so I'll be back when there's something to actually talk about.

1. Super Mario RPG 2 (sequel maybe)
With the ORIGINAL characters. Not just Mario and Luigi.

Nothing needs to be said here.
3. Chrono Trigger sequel
I'm sorry, CTDS is not enough.
4. Lufia 5
There are 4 of them already, but there seriously needs to be another on either the PSP or DS.
5. Another Seiken Densetsu
One that is truly similar to SD3. Most of the newer ones are pretty horrible.
6. Super Metroid HD (remake?)
Something similar to this would be glorious.
I can't think of anything else.
