The Steam Topic
I'd say about 5% of the games on there are actual Valve productions.
It's a little more than just digital distribution. If you wanted, all of your games could be tied into Steam, as it does allow games that aren't on their list to be added manually through shortcuts. The more popular games have groups you can join, making multiplayer games much better since you're not just playing with random people all the time. You can even schedule those group events, and check a players stats for multiplayer games on it. They also take things from their community and add it into Steam(such as user made mods).
Basically, you can either be a "lite" user of Steam, or more of a "regular" user of Steam. It will get the job done for what you want(buy games, play them), but you can get even deeper into it if you choose to do so.

Set the time, date, and I'm there. What's your Steam ID?
Feld's Topic On How Not to Screw Up In College (And Life) Topic
The advice Feld gave actually applies to life in general.
This topic could also be named "How not to screw up in life". But I guess college fits in a tad bit more, and like Mala said, is for practice!
You guys give some good advice, I need to stop slacking off.

About RMN
Guys, how do we have 35 guests viewing this forum.
edit: it has dropped. >:(
Also, I can't believe I helped create The List. What was that, 3 years ago or something?

Legend of Maia
love is a poison, and I am fair mithridates
Get some confidence you guys! Chances are if she's with a total dick, she isn't worth your time. In fact, any girl with a boyfriend probably isn't worth the time.
NoblemanNick, 9 years? Holy shit, that's crazy man. That's a lot of time....a lot. :(
I have a tendency to help my friends out of situations like these. As for myself, I am actually not that good when it comes to following my own advice. It's completely different when you're the one in the situation and not the one giving the advice.

Map design is level design, but a more broad approach to it.
Blind, I think you mean "Best tileset mix where each 16x16 tile is different from the tile next to it" award.

I don't think best inferface design should be in there at all. I'd go with Sarenji's idea.
And stop plugging your games or mentioning what game should win, damnit.

I play Team Fortress 2. A lot.
All I play is TF2 as well. I used to play CS, but I'm just not into it anymore.

I love this game. I'm currently playing through it on my PSP now.
This game had the best puzzles I've ever seen. I had to look through walkthroughs just to get past some of the parts in the game. The game is also pretty difficult, which I like since Zelda is too easy.
It's sad the game didn't get much attention. The sequel to it sucked, but this one really is one of the best games I've ever played. I personally think the dungeon design is top notch, especially for a game like this. The graphics and gameplay are incredible, and the soundtrack stays in your head for a long time.
