All digital art (in fact anything on a computer screen) is made of pixels but not all digital art is pixel art. There is no issue whatsoever with the quality of your art itself (this is a for-fun pixel quilt, after all, plus your design is fine?) but you've misunderstood pixel art as a term, that's all. It's not just Nessiah's definition, it is a definition that all the other tiles meet. Again this is not an issue of quality but an issue of misunderstanding the definition.

edit - sorry, late to the reply party there. You could always do a different design if the approach is new to you and you wanna do something more suited to that instead?

@Housekeeporz - Reminds me a little bit of Genghis Tron or The Algorithm. Shame about Reason's guitars being terrible though. I actually spent many hours "making" (using the Combinator to put devices together and changing many params) better guitars for Reason but alas they are now gone along with the rest of what was on my external HDD. I'd recommend trying it yourself, though - try running your guitars through distortion (or the Line 6 amp modelling if you have a newer Reason than me) EQ, reverb, chorus, phase etc (you'd have to play it by ear though D: I have no recollection of exactly what I did to get the sounds I got)

It comes from the folkloric belief that swans (I guess Mute Swans specifically?) only sing right before they die.
