Hmm, I seem to be stuck on the Great Thief's riddle.
You could potentially get stuck there, as the party has to think through the clues while doing something else. If you've already done everything else in the game, then there's nothing left to move that dialog chain forward. I'll have to think how to handle that.
For now, it looks like you've found something the game considers "progress" and that triggered the next scene.

Should have a fix for this out soon.
Did you
enter the Realm of the Dead through Demon Claw Swamp, then leave through the portal in Kyme's house?
I want to make sure I understand how you got into the state that caused the crash so it's properly fixed.

You can also jump by pressing Shift.
If that doesn't work, press F1 to bring up the dialog to change controls. The dialog is confusing, but make sure C is bound to A.
Pressing Reset will actually unbind C, so watch out for that.

@Darken
I've uploaded to GameJolt in the past, but didn't realize it was still going. Good to hear it's a solid source of downloads/views, otherwise I would have skipped it.
I'm hesitant on Steam as it's $100 to post a game I'm releasing for free. My gamedev motivation is mostly from getting users to play and comment, so if Steam can generate players and reviews for me, then I might drop the money on it.
@sushiman345
The plan was to build the secret Dego dungeon by editing the data files for the game's levels, and uploading the new files as a patch. Then I realized all the data files are compressed into the exe, and there's no way to change them without re-compiling the game. And re-compiling the game was a big adventure that I couldn't get to work :(

@WheelmanZero
Comments from you and others who post regularly were a huge motivator for me to finish. Thanks for sticking with the game :)
@Sgt M
Ten years ago, just having an actually completed indie game was a selling point. It's a whole different world to navigate now.
I'm actually using your Brave Hero Yuusha EX itch.io page as a reference for mine.
Have you had any success on steam? The discoverability seems so low.

I've taken down the demo
Thanks for the support! I'm doing one last test play of the game. 3 hours in and already have 75 bugs and small fixes. This could take a while...

@grindalf - Looks awesome. Blitz3D is such an old name. Can't believe it's still around.
@Deckiller - I love the screen shake in the lava came. It adds so much to the atmosphere. At the same time, I also hate the screen shake. It would totally give me a headache.
@Tw0Face - I assume that's Puyo Puyo? That seems like an interesting game to program the AI for. Do they actually setup chains?
@ellenor - Always love the pixel art from your screenshots.

Notes From Province
The game is close to complete. I'm hopefully it can be ready in a few months.
I was planning some type of puzzle hints or dungeon guide, though I was saving it for the full game. The demo is quite out of date. The whole town has been remade and the early game pacing has been improved.
What kind of info do people want in a guide?

Letting players cheat
These are good ideas. This has been on my mind for a while, and I couldn't come up with something that worked well, so hearing everyone's thoughts is fantastic. Now I'm leaning towards some type of item that can be found/bought.
