RPG Maker is on Sale on Steam
I don't know if this is common knowledge but in case its not I just wanted to let everyone know that a lot of the RPG Makers are on sale on Steam.
Most of them are significantly low on price 2003, XP, and VX especially
The newest one MZ is also on sale but as you can imagine its only a small discount on that particular one.
Anyway hope that helps some of you.

Wiiyoo thats a snazy lookin video game, boy! Advanced graphics in 3D is amazing! Let me switch games with you. We have to play that game, boy! Wow this game has everything you can even ride a dolphin. You can even unlock minigames, so far I've gotten 64 unlocked. Did I mention its VR compatible? That's right it's virtual, boy. I tell you what boy, this is game is a super necessity for any hardcore gamer. Hoowee I could play this all day and if I get tired I know the best way to keep my head in the game, Cuban espresso from the project cafe. Then again maybe Ive been playing long enough and should deescalate with a nice Nestle tea. It's truly a revolution to see how far this generation has improved the game and watch in the future games will become even greater. ... Ultra 64 :P

Videogame and Anime Music Mashups
Do you have some favorite videogame or anime music mashups?
Here's a classic videogame mashup that I've been listening to for years featuring Final Fantasy 4 and Chrono Trigger.
Here's a pretty new anime mashup of Evangelion with Tenacious D.
Edit: Just remembered this Youtuber I listen to from time to time who makes all sorts of Music Mashups.

My Final Fantasy videos
I finally started making some Final Fantasy videos.
I have 2 so far and will make more as time goes on. The 1st video is focused on the art of long time Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano. I feature his paintings of black characters and talk about how I would like a future FF game to have a black protagonist. And as I tend to do I weave in some educational info about Africa in this video.
In the 2nd video I talk about the issue of General Leo and Minwu from FF6 and FF2 being depicted in game with the wrong skin tone and how I think Square Enix could have given them their darker skin tone. So, you'll get to see my customized sprites of General Leo and Minwu.
I plan to make more Final Fantasy videos as well. So, I'll likely post those here in the future as well.

Mario Art Videos - Adding Diversity to Mario
Mario is the face of video games. In my latest videos I made artwork to help promote the idea of diversity in the Mario series. The subjects of these first two videos are Princess Daisy and Il Piantissimo. Each video's art is inspired by world cultures. I intend to make atleast one more in this series too. Hope you enjoy.

What if Pokemon types were not based on Elements.
A lot of video games including Pokemon use Elements as the basis for there types. Obviously, not all are elements like Bug and Dragon but many are. Well for fun I thought up a type chart based around emotions. So, we can argue what emotions should be represented and what there effectiveness should be. I honestly didn't worry too much about realism since I had to also worry about game balance. It's just something I made for fun. As for odd anomalies like why Angry is the only thing powerful against Calm, that was meant to mirror how in Pokemon Fighing is good against Normal. That said for the most part I did not try to mirror Pokemon types too much. But I figured that the Calm type should be mostly nuetral to other types.
Also feel free to talk about other things could be the basis of a type chart in a game.
