Games based on World Cultures
Would you like to see more cultures represented in video games other than Greece, Japan, and Europe in general?
I know I would.
Lets here what all of you think are underrepresented cultures in games.
Personally I think Africa is definitely underutilized. All you ever see of Africa in games is usually Egypt which is great but there is a lot more on the continent. There is the amazing masks of the Dogon and Bwa, the impressive architecture of the Ashanti. The bronze sculptures of the Benin, the Great Ruins of Zimbabwe and much more.
Which is why I made my game "Nsala Liberation" African themed.
(Shameless plug)(I thought it was relevant to the topic but if the moderators want I'll edit it out of the topic)
I also wish there were more games focused on the cultures of the Americas such as the Inca from Peru, the Olmec, the Aztec, the Mayan, and various Native American groups.
Illusion of Gaia for the SNES had an Incan level. That game is amazing by the way I wish there were more games like it. If you haven't heard of it, basically its an RPG where you explore ruins from our own real world.

Nudity in Games
As some of you know I am making a game that is based around African culture. Since, a number of people in Africa traditionally don't cover themselves as we do in the west, there are a number of nude characters in the game.
Keep in mind the nudity in the game is all just tiny pixel characters. You can't see nipples or genitals.
Also, in my defense there's a popular RPGMaker game called "Desert Nightmare" that has nudity.
So, hopefully that's okay with all of you because it would be really ridiculous if I had to censor tribal nudity.
One more thing while I'm checking to see if the nudity thing is okay with all of you, I should also note (SPOILER ALERT) that the villain of the game is a colonist and if you know your history that means there's slavery and genocide involved. The game is by no means super violent but it is vital that my game show the horrors of colonization. Plus, the goal of my game is to free slaves so it's an integral plot element.
Also, the slaves in the game are extracting coltan which is a way for my game to raise awareness of the current crisis in the Congo in which people in our time are being enslaved to dig up coltan. Which is a substance used in all computers, cell phones, and game systems.
So, my game is a little bit like the movie "Blood Diamond"
So, hopefully that's okay cause without it my story will be nothing.

Gamer Dreams
Ever had a dream involving video games post it here and share with everyone.
My most recent gamer dream was that I had Kirby as a pet. I fed him dog food (should that have transformed him?) and he floated me to places I needed to go.
I figure it wouldn't be to hard to train Kirby he's intelligent enough that I could teach him not to eat certain things or people, I hope.
My memory isn't great but I think Kirby's Adventure for the NES was the first game I beat I love that little dude.

[Poll] Game Titles
I've been working on my game forever and I'm still not sure what the title should be.
I want it to sound good and make sense
Lately, I have been calling it "Mashetani Liberation" which sounds good but out of context of the game, it might not make sense because Mashetani basically means evil spirits or demons in Swahili. If you know Swahili you'd be thinking why the hell would you want to liberate demons. If you play the game (SPOILER ALERT) you find out that the Mashetani were once good spirits who are being controlled to do terrible things.
To me it makes sense but I'm not sure if it would be seen favorably.
So I been looking for another title in case the other doesn't work.
"Wakati wa Liberation" is Swahili for - a time of liberation.
Which is more general and also more inclusive which makes sense because it's mainly people that you try to liberate in the game you just happen to need save the spirits (mashetani) in order to liberate humans
I also like "ọjọ ti Liberation" which is Igbo for - day of Liberation
but I'm afraid people will mispronounce that. The o's in ọjọ are pronounced like the o's in the word got
Finally I thought "Watu Liberation" sounded nice. It's Swahili for - people

A game that's years in the making
I've been working on an African fantasy adventure game on rpg maker xp for years and I'm hoping to finish it soon. I've never uploaded a game before so I have no idea how to do it. The game is roughly 180 MB, hope that's okay I believe I've seen larger games on this site. Also, can I submit stuff like screen shots before uploading the actual game and is that a good idea?
