There was some leaks about it recently. It's possible that they could be fake but they seem really legit.

Personally I'd rather see Simon Belmont, Shantae, or a Moogle/Blackmage.
But oh well. At the end of the day I get to play as Shulk so Nintendo can throw in whoever they want lol.

What's your opinion on Rayman being in?

Last year I beat Illusion of Gaia. This year I started playing Terranigma I've only just gotten to the surface world in chapter 2 but dear lord is this game already awesome. Chapter 1 of the game involved me reviving the continents of the earth. Each of the 5 dark towers I concurred resurrected a continent. So after every level you would see South America reborn, then Africa, and etc. I knew before playing that I'd be reviving the world but I didn't think that would just be the opening to the game.
But here's what really blew my mind. Before going to the surface world I remembered there was two side quests I could do, but for this topic I just want to focus on one of them. Now, when I went there I was expecting to maybe get a new piece of armor or maybe a good weapon; you know the kind of thing you expect a video game's side quest to give you.
When I finished this side quest text on screen appeared saying "On this day Polynesia was reborn."
Holy crap! I just did a side quest that revived a whole damn archipelago!
Tell me when have you done a side quest that has something like that as a reward?

In the near future I hope to release a major update to my game.
Despite having used the site for months I'm still a bit of a newb on certain things.
A friend of mine suggested that instead of a simple update of editing the current download, I should delete the current version and upload a whole new one. He said that when you add a new download the game gets featured on the front page.
The downside is that it deletes the game's download count.
Are there any other downsides or upsides to this that I should be aware of.
Like do I have to resubmit the screenshots? Since its still the same gamepage I assume not but, I don't know? I hope the old comments stay there I really appreciate the comments people have left on the page. I know that probably sounds ridiculous but again I don't really know much about how this site works.

I trust my friend's opinion but I think it's a good idea to see what others think.

I'm also concerned that if I go this route, that the game might do worse than last time since the older versions' reviews will still be there (I'm pretty sure) and perhaps make the game less appealing.

When the update comes out I plan to post replies on those reviews that mention that I have fixed the issues that the reviewers had but that won't change the scores. And my guess is most people won't bother noticing my replies to the reviews.
I'm also planning on asking some people on the site to review the game once the update arrives but those reviews could take a while and during that time the game would be on the front page with outdated reviews.
Please don't take that the wrong way everyone has a right to their opinion, and frankly I'm glad I got the reviews because they allowed me to create a better game. I'm just saying that by the time my update arrives those reviews will be outdated for the most part.

So, now that you know my situation what do you all think is the best way to release a major game update.

I was thinking about the older designs for Samus without armor and man, they just work. They look way better than the current Zero suit in my opinion.

Both of those images feel more like the true Samus than the Zero suit design. Plus, Gunpei Yokoi was still around to approve of the SNES design.
I don't hate the new look but I just feel like it doesn't suit Samus as well the more naturalistic older designs. These days she's looking more like an anime character. NOTE - I LOVE ANIME but I don't think the particular anime style that they use for Samus works as well as a more naturalistic look does.

What do you think is the best design for Samus?

Do you want her design to go back to her roots like I do or do you prefer the current designs?

As a side note - I like all of the various power suits. They are all bad ass looking. I wish the light suit was an alt costume in Smash.

Experiment status report update: Metroid project 'Dread' is nearing the final stages of completion.

I've been playing a lot of Xenoblade and I find the Nopon to be adorable so I figured hey why not make a poll about those little fat characters from RPG games.











I know he's not little but gotta give CT some representation.









I'm aware Persona is a spin off of Shin Megami but I figured people would want both shown. That being said I don't know much about the series so hopefully I was correct in my choices for the game's cute little fat guy.



I was trying to figure out if Tales of and Baten Kaitos have fitting characters but couldn't remember any and find them online. Xenogears and Chrono Cross were excluded since their series are already represented.

I'm sure there are others worth including but this is all I could come up with for choices. I'm sure I forgot some major ones. If I did not list one of your favorites pick the "other choice and let me know about it in the comments.
