It's definitely reminiscent of Earthbound's hard-outline, solid-color, minimal-shading style of graphics. The Eagle Rock sign also looks a lot like the city signs in Earthbound. It doesn't look like many of the graphics actually are from Earthbound, though. The grass is, and the dirt path is, but the trees and cliffs aren't. It looks like you went to a lot of trouble to make your own original graphics that perfectly matched the Earthbound ones so you could use them together, which is super cool if that's true. Or maybe I'm senile and those are all 100% rips?
Regardless I will definitely say it looks really super nice and also it's a great size and layout for an outdoor dungeon, and I think adding the eagle's head rock formation on the mountaintop really makes the area vastly more interesting than if it were just a normal peak. Keep doing what you are doing!
thanks! they are a blend of edits from mother 3, earthbound and custom work. It is for an EB fangame I've been tionkering with for years now , so I'm glad it looks authentic!

Disregarding the mismatching resources and lack of cohesive design, your screens ARE suffering. Look at the negative space to positive space ratio, everything is scaled way too big, and is confusing.
i realize these are battle pics but christ, they hurt to look at. Try making the backs of the heros smaller, move them down more, scale down your enemies, clean up the graphics in general. i dont know what the text is on the lefthand side, but should probably remove that, or at least change that blackletter font. System set looks ugly too. try something cleaner.

I shouldnt have even allowed anyone to climb back up that way-
You're supposed to enter the fixed mineshift to the right, at the bottom of the mountain. There were construction workers blocking it, but after you return from the air balloon it should be open.
It takes you up tthe mountain inside, bypassing the annoying haunted house level in the beginning and takes you up to woobton.
oh and the the original mp3s were made by swordofkings128, hes still floating around here somewhere I think! Ask him!

the whole screen being tinted makes it look washy in my opinion. you lose all contrast. Color looks pretty okay, but try not tinting the foreground and sprites and of course, dont tint the HUD

I assume you mean the battle backgrounds in the DBS?
"Frames" my friend, use a repeating scrolling bg for the bottom frame, for the top layer it should be some image that is mostly transparent, maybe a few floating shapes, and have that displayed over the bottom one. Play with the relationships between the two layers.
