Hey, you guys...I......released.
If you have a link I can ignore the fact that you've completely forgot to throw around some confetti.
The tagline told me "stop making excuses and make your game" but what if my excuse is that I suck
Brain: Hey, you don't have time to start making a new game right now. How about I give you 1001 ideas for 666 different games now?
author=Frogge
1001 ideas but 666 games? I get half an idea and start wanting to make 40 games at the very least that utilize that idea.
But RMN wants you to take every idea from every RPG that has ever existed and cram it into one game which means you need to have much more ideas than games.
RMVX trailer is a national treasure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJVb1j2hQpE
*Looks at avi* There, that's better.

idgaf about anything but this: (...) Listen, I am citing THE MOST COMPLETELY RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY SOURCE KNOWN TO MAN, urban dictionary dot com.
I'm aware of what you wanted to say, even without you showing me the most completely reliable and trustworthy source crown to man.

Is it ever a good idea to have the first one or two encounters of your game be extremely difficult?
I once played a rm-game (I forgot the name) where I had to click myself through 10 minutes of text-based introduction leading me to the very first battle which I lost within two or three turns. I couldn't remember any other situation, where I'd hit alt+f4 that fast.
Hey, I have some offensive things to say.
Everyone should include an ATB-script in their game, as it's a great idea to let the player wait 10 seconds or more each time until he can attack again. Also, I think it's great when the intro of an RM Game lasts 20 minutes or longer without letting the player actually play the game, as the game gets much more interesting with half a ton of dialogues at the beginning.
I honestly don't know if getting all of these games to Proof of Concept status and then shelving them to work on my main is a sound strategy, or if I'm just addicted to starting new projects. 50/50.
You're right, but I speak from personal experience when I say don't put too much effort in RM Games if you don't want to end up changing everything over 94123 times just because you're an insane perfectionist. This can be an addiction as well. xD
