She keeps doing weird things, they all claim she's a witch. Why does she keep it up, while apologizing?

Secret Santa 2016

*raises hand*

Is it worth using RMVXA at this point?

RMMV is still buggy at this point and as much as you say that you don't want to use VXA, a lot of people still use XP/VX because it is still functional and by far, efficient.

Plus, VX Ace has some scripts that might interest you and that MV has a memory leak bug as of the moment, so yeah. You only need to use the Task Manager to stop some of the FPS drops (by upping the game's priority) that VXA has or just find a script that preloads some stuff to stop it.

PSA: Linearity doesn't instantly mean that a game is bad.

It's more likely on how the game goes than how the game branches off. Linearity is also made for some story blitz that you can't avoid.

Dear Mariko Review

What is the 'obosen', 'hentai' sound? What happened to Hiroshi??

Obosen -> Ubusin -> Clear them all
Hentai -> Pervert
Hiroshi -> Missing(?)

2016 Misaos (Fin)

Pocket Mirror, though not lauded by some of us, would be dragged to the top by its graphics. I've been noticing that some of us who play horror games don't usually tempt to look at the gameplay and more on alluring the crowd through story-telling and those wonderful looking graphics.

Weird and Unfortunate Things Are Happening? That's Best Title for sure.

Soma Spirits could contend with Pocket Mirror, considering that it happened to appear late-game after PM's release.

As for the demos? Not sure. Everyone's not going A-game or something (unless I didn't notice that it is their A-game)

As far as I know, the horror genre is one tough contender to be in right now because of PM's existence and some other games that would appear late-game that would rival against one another.

In Japan on vacation now :)

Send my regards to my senpai there if you have the chance to meet her!

(Seriously, she's a transfer student/delegate there for our school.)

Rethinking Antagonists

Agreeing with this, though. If there's no conflict, nothing's going to make a momentum for the story. It's pretty much a basic recipe that only the spices (the baddies and such) can make it even better.

Though, an antagonist doesn't have to be like a physical object. It can be in a form of mental disorders and such or something that makes conflict. Plus, the reason conflict is made anyway is due to misunderstandings, which are made due to our perspective... which can be derived as the real reason the plot ever existed and possibly the "plot antagonist" and the "plot maker" at the same time.

Also, an antagonist doesn't necessarily need to be "evil". He just opposes the side the protagonist is in. If the protagonist were some overlord (Hasvers approved) trying to make his words to survive against the people who would try and kill him, that pretty much makes a point that a protagonist can be somewhat "evil" in a way.

TL;DR: An antagonist is a character that opposes a protagonist and pretty much can be in a physical or mental form. An antagonist doesn't necessarily need to be "evil".

(Plus, I do remember having a lesson about "struggles" from our Values Education teacher which sums up to this.)

What are you jamming to?

WARNING: How in the world.

We should all aspire to be like Scott Cawthon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsOLvDzaFYY

This is pretty much what I remember from him when there are at times that I would lose and winning was impossible.

But I just did a clutch game and wing it. So much for my opponents calling themselves "undefeated".
