You're free to play whatever you want, or not play whatever you want. Also, there are over 100 unique, original sprite sets created just for this game, for anyone who was wondering.

It's unbelievable how impatient some people are. This is one of the few games on this site that shows all the signs of "this game will be completed someday". Don't try to rush the developer - it almost never leads to faster releases (and on the rare occasion that it does, the player pays the price). Thanks for all your hard work so far, WCouillard, just work at your own pace. I'll gladly wait another seven years in order to play a promising game.
Patience is a virtue; one you clearly don't possess. There's plenty of other stuff for you to play in the meantime. Go do that.

Didn't there used to be a BOF2 remake project on here?
I know this is super necroposty, but I just wanted to clarify that I wasn't the person leading the team effort on that project, but I was maintaining the gamepage here for it. The work I did on it was completed, but sadly, the other team members never finished it up. :(

I don't really like "demo" releases because of RPG Maker's nature of breaking save files for future releases. I do not want players to have to start over every time I release a new version, so new releases (as development progresses) were not made public. Testers have been able to play new builds regularly, though.
With that said, I really can't promise a timeline on a release. I would not want to overestimate my free time.

Those guys are only able to work on FF7R because I gave them all paid leave to pursue their dreams. They'll be back in the office Monday morning, or else.
