WHEELMANZERO'S PROFILE

Just a guy who loves rpg's. Thanks to some serious encouragement from several new friends and the community at large, I was able to complete one of my own. Game making is my favorite hobby, so you can expect more games on the way. Play on fellow gamers, play on!

LIVENEL - Teirra Haven Map Design

Sheesh man, this is crazy. Keep up the good work!

Letting players cheat

How about an overpowered weapon or piece of equipment? That way, if the player just wants to get past a tough boss, they can equip it, slaughter the boss, unequip it, and continue the game as intended.

Umbral Soul

Synthesia- Piece of cake. All you have to do is hold "shift" to run while moving and you'll make it no problem.

Nanikorewa- I love post games and secret bosses myself, so I was planning on adding those to the sequel as well. It'll be something for you to look forward to.

Umbral Soul

jayfeather- Why, I'm glad you asked my good man! I don't think "excited" is a strong enough word to describe how hyped I am to show you everything I've had in the oven regarding Luminous Soul. I'm implementing a lot of great ideas I wanted to try out, and writing the story has been a blast. In fact, I've actually made some changes to Umbral Soul in preparation for the events of Luminous Soul. If there's one thing I can say about the sequel, it's that it will be far from boring. Let's just say I hope you like boss battles.

Nanikorewa- Don't worry, those areas actually can't be unlocked in this game. This is because they won't play a role in the story until the sequel. I wanted to avoid having the player revisit all of the same areas across two different games, so certain areas were locked off.

Umbral Soul

Nanikorewa- Yup, that would be me! Sorry I didn't address your first question, but I wasn't really sure what you were asking. You'd probably have better luck getting an answer on the forums.

As for your second question, the tower of champions won't open until you've made it to a certain point in the story. Trust me, you'll now it when you see it, so if you keep playing you'll eventually be able to enter.

Knightowl and Varn - I'm psyched to hear that you're enthusiastic enough about the game to play it multiple times. Hey, if you wanna play it again, don't let me stop you. The point of most games is to have fun after all, so if you're having fun, then play away. I think the ultimate edition will have enough tweaks to make one more playthrough worthwhile, what with all the new bells and whistles.

LIVENEL: Nocturnal Skyrift

I caught the opening of this game on youtube and was absolutely blown away. This is the most amazing looking rpg maker game I've ever seen, hands down. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that went into it. Kudos to you, sir!

Umbral Soul

Ah, there's the problem. I'm guessing you're on the Reinhart quest, right? You aren't supposed to be able to teleport to the castle after you watch the scene at the top of the altar, but there's a Gloom Crystal in the crystal dimension that removes the state that seals Abyssal Portal, making it possible. Your summons are still there, they're just further down one the list. Having that extra party member is going to cause trouble in the future though. I'll shoot you an email so I can fix your save file.

Umbral Soul

It most certainly is not. Any idea how that happened? Do you have a previous save before that point?

Umbral Soul

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! Heh heh heh, all I can say is that I think you'll find the direction the sequel takes quite interesting. I wouldn't expect anyone to enjoy something I didn't find exciting after all. Thanks for playing!

Umbral Soul

Dang, it sounds like you're running smack dab into all the bugs. Those'll be long gone once I release the final version of the game, but for now I'm stuck with them. Just make sure you don't add him to your party before you meet him in the story, or it's going to cause problems later. I'm glad that you're managing to enjoy yourself in spite of the bugs though.
