YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

How do some of you complete games so fast?
I don't really design anything. I have a basic idea in my head and I just go with it. Everything else will fall into place eventually.
Complete Chaos
How do some of you complete games so fast?
I honestly don't know. I usually work on my games once or twice a week, sometimes one or twice in several weeks. I just do whatever I can, whenever I can do it, and just keep at it.
I guess I just work fast. It reminds me of my friends from who school who study hours to pass exams, where as I study for only 20 or minutes for a class but score higher grades than they do. I'm not bright, but I'm hasty. :P
It also helps that I don't quit my projects after like, three months. I like to complete things, even if it'll take 3-4 years (for some reason, it will get done.
I go back and change my dialouge a lot, but I don't ever re-do maps, aside from making minor edits. I will never be an excellent mapper. As long as my maps aren't complete trash, I'm good.

Oddly enough, I have the exact opposite problem as F-G. Once I finish a map/skill/NPC/etc. I don't want to ever touch it again. This is why I never release the same project twice. :<

Can S4D triumph over Release Something, or will his Rpgmaker dreams crumble at his feet. Stay tuned!
Sounds like a reality tv ad.

Release Something! Day VI: Return of the Jedi [Mar 20th]
[REVIVED] Complete Chaos
ETA:
I am bringing this back to life. I was looking through the game's folder and my interest in this starting rising again. So I'm going to finish this. There are only 3 or 4 dungeons left to do, plus a few side stuff, so I might as well.
Anyway, I know, this game uses RL facesets, the graphics are inconsistent, yada, yada, yada....but Vanity, hopefully, proved I can write and MMZ proved I can make a game with a consistent graphical style, so with that said, I don't feel like I have anything to prove. So I will finish this, pretty it up a little, and release it. This game has other issues that I can/will fix, but they aren't anything drastic. Just little stuff that'll make this game less frustrating for the players (e.g, the colored arrows will return, as well as the whole "FIGHT OR REPEL" thing that I just recently put into Vanity).
Like this TC, this game is made for enjoyment purposes only. It's easily assessible, so play it if you're in the mood for something that is not complicated and if you just want to have a good time. Mind you, I didn't sacrifice plot/character development for pure entertainment, since that is what I'm all about.
In short, expect a full game late-summer or early Fall.
I'll be updating this thread frequently with new/updated screens.
Old shit=
Plot: A jazz singer, Kyon-Lei Kwon has been getting stalked by a mysterious foe who calls himself "Face," so she contacts the Rodger Police force for assistance. Eric Ventura is called to do the job but an unsuspecting chain of events occur, including a demon attack which nearly ends his life. Saved by an unidentified voice, Eric is given a set of unique powers which he uses to save the victim. However...his mission is far from over. With twelve horrifying demons of Chaos walking among man, and a secret New World Order rapidly gaining power...is Eric alone enough to stop this evil? Play and find out...
Features: 10-15 hours of gameplay
A cast of 12 unique characters with their own abilities personalities
A plethora of extra, un-plot related things to do
The ability to fully-customize your party, choosing your own "leader"
A fast-paced story that'll keep you guessing

I haven't really touched this game since like, July, and unfortunately my interests have flew elsewhere...however, I did complete a pretty good amount of the game and I didn't want to leave it all just sitting on my computer (or school's computer, whichever) so here it is. Maybe I'll get back to it eventually...maybe not. Who knows. I never like giving up on things...so we'll see. I don't know at this point, but just incase I don't...

If you don't mind, a review of http://www.rpgmaker.net/games/923/ would be awesome.
This one's only a dungeon old though. An updated new demo is in the works.
