YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.

I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?

Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*

When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.

If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

So, uh..this pissed me off...

So let me ask, does anyone here have a problem with people drawing nude/sexy art?

Of course not. Nudity to me is a very beautiful thing. And I'm sure at this point most of us have seen a pair of naked breasts before.

To me, obscene would be if your art depicted females pleasuring themselves or something.

What RM games are you playing right now?

Demon Tower
Rick Astley horror story

Those are the main ones, but I play a few others whenever I get some extra time.

Heaven and Hell Episode 3

Noooo! Don't cancel this!

Nonetheless, I will download this...but it looks awesome, so far!

You don't really need this. You can just play your game (like you'd play any other RM game), but have still RPG Maker open, so when you come across an error, you can easily fix it.

No need to download anything extra. :p
But then you'd have to:
1. Save
2. Exit game
3. Find the error and fix it
4. Load game

But suppose your game doesn't allow saving at some points, Or your in the middle of an extremely long cutscene that has some minor spelling errors.

Well, you can always play the game from your folder instead of playtesting it in RPG Maker. It's the same thing, it just takes a little longer to get to the folder, and it allows you to edit stuff with RPG Maker as you play.

You could do that in VX by directly playing from the Game.exe file in your folder (instead of running a playtest), and editing all mistakes you find as you come across them, in the Editor.

That's exactly what I was talking about. My wording was probably off.

What annoys you in a game?

Over time I have discovered that I hate RPGs where you don't have enough skills. I want to have at least three skills per character by the time I've leveled up three times, and if not, chances are I will get bored and quit.

So you like games that give you a bunch of filler moves that you'll never, ever use? :p

Words you know, but don't know the meaning of

Irony.

I know examples of irony, but I can't give an exact definition if asked.

Favorite RM Game

RPGM2k: Legendary Adventure
RPGM2k3: Take Down Legacy

They were just fun games. I replay them both at least once a year or so.

Fallen-Griever's Review Thread

Thank you! I may put up an updated demo once I've completed a good amount. I mainly put this one out to see whether or not I was, at least, "on" to something decent.

Also, I would suggest implementing a detection system for the enemies, as having them set to walk towards the hero is very overdone, tripe and boring.

I think I'm going to steal from Wild Arms 2 and make it your choice whether to fight an enemy or not before entering each battle.
