ZEERO'S PROFILE

I'm originally from Hungary, but now living in London, UK. I've never finished any games so far, even though I know Maker for 10 years now. I'm doing Mountainbike Downhill in my freetime, and playing League of Legends.

RM03 Question

Hey guys,

so I was wondering, is it possible to take out the "quit game" section from the in-built menu system? Because it actually bothers me that it's there, and It messes up the whole picture.

In the whole RM environment I didn't find anything that would take it out, so I guess I would have to take it out some other ways.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Zeero

Is this possible?

I've seen an Rm2003 style "online" game, was basically like minecraft (well, before minecraft even was released, lols), you could gather the tiles, and put them down somewhere else - that way building houses, etc.

It was written in assembly, if I remember correctly, and basically the author altered the whole program.

So unless you don't know IT programming, you won't be able to make it multiplayer.

[Poll] How Much “Planning” Or “Prepping” Do You Do Before Starting Your Game(s)?

I usually try to sort out everything first, what I need, how I need them, but.. When it comes to writing the whole storyline, the screenplay, I just can't be bothered. I tried it, and I'm bad at it. I note some good ideas, and the whole story in nuts, but then just go with the flow.
Also, I try to create own personalities for the main characters, and for some semi-main characters as well.
Although sometimes I fail to give them texts that are go along with their personalities, it kind of works for me, and I don't need to think that much what and when the hero says things, because I just go along with his personality.

Kind of. While I checked out these XP and VX stuffs, I didn't like them, mainly because of the open source. I just hate the idea that if I create something, someone can just steal it with ctrl C, and then claim it for themselves. Maybe it's not that easy, and probably I'm just being too paranoid and sceptical, but if I work tons of hours with something, I don't want someone to claim it's theirs.

So I'm like those old hags, who are complaining about the 21th century, and can never accept the changes, and always recalling the good old' 80s.

Finally on the internetz

Heya everyone, I just registered to this forum, then immediately got redirected to some guy's post who said I should introduce myself, so here I am (apart form joking, that redirecting thing is a great idea, really).

I'm a 21 years old guy originally from Hungary, but I live in UK for a few months now. I've been working with RPG Maker almost since it was released, started with RPG Maker 2000 10 years ago. Although I never finished any games at all (except for my first game, but I'm sure you don't want to hear about it, I made it with completely leaving out any sort of switches - I didn't understand them.. ), I am now working on a project which could be my biggest throw of all time, that is, IF I finish it.

That's all about me, I guess, in my free time I'm playing computer games (obviously), doing some maker things (obviously), and also I'm doing Mountainbike Downhill (not so obviously).

Nice to meet you guys!
