Sweet Middleground 2.5 ~bed and breakfast~
Connection: Fairy Birthbloom
Connection: Fairy Birthbloom
There is a reason why they try to win minigames, but it's not related to bees. They don't actually keep bees away from flowers, out of the minigame.
But I do wonder... Maybe I'll need an explanation at some point, if I need the minigame to have depth. Or a new version of the minigame that also makes sense lore-wise. Something like one of your suggestions, but linked to an extension of the lore.

Oh no, no, birthblooms are their own specie, they're different from normal flowers.
The flowers in the minigame are normal flowers. And I chose bees for their movement pattern, and (admittedly) tendency to reach for flowers. So, it's very... "biolo-illogical", and I don't have a lore bit to justify it ='D
Flowers can make glass though, they have glass windows, sand, fire, all of that. The reason why the birthblooms are outside is more that the birthblooms choose where they grow. They can't be planted, they don't produce seeds. This is the most important part in all of this: birthbloom care is nothing like farming, and the story is about this.
(Edit : ah, and bees aren't an actual problem, they're only the minigame antagonists. Not plot-related~)

xD I was talking about that just the other day actually. How bees were the last thing you want to keep away from flowers. I guess the fairies are a jealous bunch =D
Connection: Fairy Birthbloom
Never even heard the name of this game xD. But rest assured, my fairies
are not evil in the slightest.
