RMN Easter Pixel Quilt 2016
I notice a color discrepancy between A4 and B4, but I don't know who is at "fault", if either Frogge or TangledLion. o_o;
Edit: Hint: the color of the water.

"On Let's Plays" - Dev expresses plight over how LP's have impacted his game's sales
Wow, lots of caveats with the arguments being brought up here, but I'm too lazy to argue every point. xD I'm just going to assert again that there's ways and ways to do things. Reviews, criticism, and even mockery are not out of the question if that's really your concern. But there's a formula for everything. If you want to take advantage of all the "grey areas" surrounding these topics, that's up to you. But at this point you may as well be arguing in favor of piracy or whatever else; the logic is indistinguishable.
Also, in addition to my "get permission" comment from before, I guess this is a message that can be extended to developers as well: Be proactive and "give permission". You know that "Creative Commons" thing? Similar deal. Think of the ways in which allowing your games to be streamed in any capacity could be beneficial to all parties involved, you, streamers, consumers, the medium as a whole. Lay down your rules, and hope those rules are respected, I guess. Can't really ask the internet for more...

What are you jamming to?
What are you thinking about right now?
You know that feeling when a song really got you pumped up when you were young, but then you hear it again as an adult and it sounds really sluggish? And then you speed it up and you're like: "Yeah, that's the stuff!" even though the singers now sound like chipmunks? ...I wonder why that is. And I wonder how that perception may change again as you grow old.

Problems with various internet services and copyright-bully companies aside. Streamers often use a bunch of sleazy arguments to justify their practices, included but not limited to "It's free publicity!" and "It's fair use!". Artists should be very familiar with the "logic" behind the first one, because we're often asked to work for either free or a pittance in exchange for "exposure" or "experience". And as for "fair use", fair use is a legal defense. Do you know what that means? It means that you have to stand in court in front of a judge and admit to have broken the law, before said judge can decide IF they let you go. You don't want to go there. So cut that out.
Long story short, get permission. I'm all for fostering an environment where we can create and share things freely and all that jazz, but respecting other people's boundaries is key for everything in this life. If someone, like in the case of 'That Dragon Cancer', doesn't want their game be to streamed, that's their right. I'm sure there's still lots of people out there who would like you to stream their games and who wouldn't even mind if you monetize your videos. Do that instead. Team up with other team players.
I would even say, be "professional" about it. Think of it as a contract. Go over every detail of the agreement, make sure the games you cover do not feature anything that could land you in hot water, etc. Get everything on paper to avoid any future misunderstandings... I know it's a hassle, specially if you're just one person with no experience. But it's the best way to go about it.

If you like the name, keep it. I think it's a cool name. If there's a misunderstanding that's constantly coming up, the onus is on the people actually doing the misunderstanding, to, I don't know, do some understanding for a change. It should never have to be you the one that has to accommodate for other people's misconceptions... You shouldn't let that bother you so much, though.

AE, it's definitely more easy on everyone if you make a new post when you're done. We're on a new page anyway now, so...
F-fine! *pouts*

I have not done one of these in a while, so why not? Give me D1 if it's not taken. (And check this post back once I'm done.)
Will be streaming Swapsies games **Ended**
So wait, you guys made an event where people switched projects? ...Damn, I need to pay more attention around here. -_-
Anime for someone who doesn't really 'like' anime.
As someone who doesn't really 'like' anime myself, I also recommend Anohana (when don't I?). But I would suggest watching it one episode at the time because even though it's short (11 eps.) it can come across as dragging things along or as too melodramatic, if you don't let the events "sink in" so to speak. Like I said, it's short, so you lose nothing just by checking it out.
Also check The vision of Escawflone. It's an anime about mechas and political intrigue but with a medieval/steampunk? flair to it. It has some romance too, but nothing overpowers the rest. It strikes a good balance. The characters and the story are quite interesting, and it's short anime too (26 eps.) It's a much better alternative to watching Evangelion, that much is certain.
And I guess by now everyone has seen the Dragon Quest animes, but if you haven't, go do that. It's Dragon Quest. Nuff' said.
