Adventures of Bun-Bo in the Yule Tide of DOOM!

Haha! That was cool. Specially that twist ending... Though at first I thought this was the 'other' belated Bun-Bo comic. =P

Can't you just upload your stuff here on rmn? ...Actually, what is the site's stand in regards of being used as a image hosting service? Is it Ok to directly link stuff from here, or would that clog the tubes? ...Ultimately, if it is more convenient to you to upload to imgur, keep doing so. Just don't read the comments/mind the down-votes. What do they know anyway? ;P

This is kind of what I was talking about. This "imaginary group I can say anything about" is no more imaginary that the "reactionary dude-bros with store-bought opinions" that you always keep going on and on about. Like, most of us understand that there's people with legitimate criticism out there. But there's also those who take it too far. This is why we often try to make it clear that we only have a bone to pick with the later group. Your insistence, however, that anyone who has anything to say on the matter is just beating on a straw-man, is telling that you're not as willing to acknowledge this kind of distinction... Dense and self-indulgent you say? My thoughts exactly.

I'm beginning to think that people who find that "Find The Panda" puzzle difficult are either too stupid to realise that pandas don't have carrots for noses, or too impatient to look at each figure one-by-one until they find the one that is obviously a panda.

My first reaction was: "Oh! It's a trick. People can't find the panda because there is no panda!" ...Then I saw the panda. :P

ff7 drama

Say what you will, but if the shoe was in the other foot, people wouldn't be so complacent about this... I think the endless quips about "cis-straight-white-males" or "scantily-clad women" that exist out there, are a testament to the fact that people aren't so accepting of developers being able to make their own "independent choices" or whatever. And that stuff doesn't always stays in the realm of critical media analysis either. It forages well into the shaming of developers and their audiences too.

Likewise, think about this. What if Square released the game with an option to take out or include the things that people are objecting to? (whichever it i's the "default" state of the game doesn't matter) That would make for a sound business decision, wouldn't it? That way they could cater to the full spectrum of their audience at virtually no cost. Everyone would get to play the version of the game that they want to play, and be happy. Right? ...Yeah, I don't see that happening. There would be outrage. xD

To be fair, there's dumb people on all sides of the argument that gent bent out of shape over things that does not deserve that kind of reaction. And it's Ok to get upset at them. But I guess what I'm trying to say here is... let's not tear each other apart on their behalf? idk

Yes, yes, I know this subject had blown over already. But I wanted to pitch in. Sue me. ;p

What's Your Favorite Anime? Is it Okay to Ask This???

While we are on the subject, has anyone watched the new Dragon Ball Super?
I'm having a hard time understanding some of the decisions they made, where they say Super takes place before the end of DBZ before Battle of the Gods and Resurrection F and that it's all canon?

What is there to understand? The series did start slightly before Battle of Gods, but then moved onto the movies and will continue onwards. Considering the events are largely the same in both, I see no no cause for confusion there. Still, I'd say the series override the movies since it's slightly better written. The only good thing about the movies was the animation/composition quality...

Talking about Dragon Ball Super; I'm kinda disappointed. My biggest gripe right now is how Vegeta is getting zero development. At this point in the series Vegeta should be able to go SSBlue too, but we didn't get to see him go SSGod or even be able to rise past SSJ2 for real. We're just supposed to believe he did, and is now "as strong/stronger" than Goku because reasons. And while I'm looking forwards to the new Interversal? multiversal? (lol, multiverse) tournament, I have a feeling it's going to play like every other tournament before. With every other battle except the final being the equivalent of filler... So far, Super is really making me appreciate GT.

Oh right. Anime... I like animes like Ano Hana or Hanasaku Hiroha. More recently I enjoyed the Gatchaman series. At first I was weirded out because it was nothing like the old Gatchaman I used to watch (Also known as G-Force) but it ended winning me over. Also, yay for Scrapped Princess. There's always Scawflone too. And fuck Evangelion, watch Genesis of Aquarion instead.

Can't PC games be modded, though? I hear there's a mod for the Steam version of ff7 to make the 3d models more up to date. If they could fix all the other issues within the games, I bet they would be considered the definitive versions of each installment... Seriously, if someone fixed the PC versions of ff5 and ff6 to a point in which they didn't resemble some crappy mobile port, I'd get the Steam versions in a heartbeat. But until that happens I'd rather stick with the ones that I already own.

Unpopular opinion, but I think "Street Fighter: The movie" was actually good (The one with Van Damme, not the Anime one).... I think it did a decent job at deconstructing the characters/story of the game. And while I never had the opportunity to play "Street Fighter: The movie: The game". I think it looks cool. So, Game --> movie --> game: can work?

And the only good Resident Evil movies are the cgi ones. The ones with Mila Jovovich stink. xP (Except maybe for Apocalypse)

[Poll] What RPGs should get represented in a future Smash Bros.

Tir, Riou, or Freyjadour from Suikoden would be a nice addition if you don't want more sword users. They use cool not-so-conventional melee weapons and can cast some very neat magic. I've actually never played SMASH so I don't know if characters like these would work very well in that game, but it would be nice to see some love for the Suikoden series.

*Sigh* Look, when you take what people call "impact" and "intent" and you dismiss intent and proceed to remain upset at something that was not meant to upset you, I think you're indeed making a choice. That's what I was referring to.

I understand having an initial strong reaction towards something. I know that feeling. I think most of us do. What I don't understand is how bringing our pet-issues to the table will benefit our ability to create or communicate with each other. If anything, that's just going to have the opposite effect. Trust me, that rabbit hole is deeeep... Therefore. If after that initial reaction, you're unwilling to adjust your feelings according to the situation, then I'm sorry, but that's something that you'll have to deal with on your own.

...Man, I need better hobbies.
