The Logomancer
Yeah you don't need to decode that figure. The passcode is all different digits so it's actually fairly simple.
That puzzle is a roadblock for a lot of people. You can see hints and answers on the previous page of comments, I believe.

The Logomancer
You can dispel debuffs with the corresponding buffs, so Bravado cancels incoherent, Tongue Twister cancels malaise, etc. It makes logical sense (I guess), but it's not something I've seen in other RPGs and the game doesn't tell you anywhere, so it's rather unclear.
A much easier method is to use fish fillets, which remove all negative states. You can get them from the southeast merchant in the bazaar; he's the only one who sells something that's actually useful!

I'll tell you what, a youngster with a tool in both hands has no hands left to do drugs. ~Hank Hill, 1999
This is a pleasant surprise.
As a jobless college student, money is tight, but I'm glad to see you interested in going commercial nonetheless.
Aw, so is AAV done for good? Or will we be seeing the basic story ideas in some other form?

New game most likely. Variant's got a little too much going on, so if anything, I'd probably break it into pieces and focus on individual plotlines... probably not as AAV though

The Age of Deliverance Review
Could you elaborate about your thoughts on the ending reveals? I just finished and I think I'm currently still trying to process it. It...certainly is a thing.
The Age of Deliverance
Ah. I see the lock now, but it should really be more prominent. I thought all the dressers were identical when I first looked at them.
Goblin Noir: Cement Shoes are Highly Unfashionable
I think the fluctuations are due to the battle system. If you're slow to figure out the puzzle you'll be floundering about for a while, and if you want to see every snippet that'll take time too.
The Logomancer
The journal puzzle isn't that bad, really... It's harder than other puzzles but if you know about non-decimal counting systems it's not so difficult. That's really the only leap of logic required, I think. Once I realized how to convert the numbers everything fell into place.
The hats puzzle is evil, though, because it doesn't tell you all the required information. But it only leads to a small optional thing (it's not required for a quest).
Was it really so bad to make you delete the game? Hardcore. Is that a thing you normally do for games you're done with, or was it simply that bad?

The Age of Deliverance
I am feeling very dumb right now because I can't solve the first puzzle (how to open the gate). I have the brass key which I thought was for the dresser, but it doesn't do anything. Do I need to find, like, a hammer or something?
OFF
Ah, nice to see this on here.
This game has a critical but fairly positive review over on infamous review blog Dragon Quill if anyone's interested.

Exeunt Omnes
Just got the logician ending. I do think it was too difficult; you need to not only know the hero's belief in every single subject (which is impossible), you have to claim the nodes in the exact right order or you'll run out of time and/or the topical zone will screw you over. And, to be honest, I wasn't entirely sure what I was convincing her of. The ethics/philosophy branch kind of makes my head spin.
And all I know about Kant is from Socrates Jones: Pro Philosopher, but he sounds like a nutcase. Intent is the only way to define morality, but also we have to consider the consequences of an action in every possible situation in order to define its morality, and all because humans are special and dignity is sacrosanct? I don't even.
And I guess I'll give a bit of advice to anyone looking for the Kant reference:
It's in the lower left. To uncover it, you need to follow the "I am a free thinker" branch, which is tricky because Hero will keep shifting you to the right.
How is the score at the end calculated, anyway? Things like belief changes and emotion points seem like pocket change in comparison to the Kant reference bonus. My Adhavista ending score was like triple my score in every other path because of it.
