Forget it. Pepsi is going to finish that game sometime in 2035.
If you're looking for a game to basically learn about stuff with (including many of those plugins), Oracle of Tao has loads and loads of features. The problem is, it also has cruft (you know, code that I made then forgot about, then it creates a nuisance later because something else needs that picture or variable or whatever). But this too is part of the learning process, and unlike SOME PEOPLE who are afraid of releasing their game, I have no qualms about such things.
Yeah, I know, I'm giving Pepsi a hard time. But c'mon man, people like demos.
Btw, if you want an example of what NOT to do, I also have some of those (actually, the last two are pretty simple and fairly clean of glitchy crap, but they're silly games).

I'm just gonna homemake 'em. Splice stuff together using a charset box template. There might be similar stuff, but probably not the same mix.
So far, I've gone through five pages, and nobody's made these into charsets.
I got as far as one of them. I loathe the idea of working with partial objects for puzzles and such, so since I know the maximum for a 288 x 256 chipset is 24 x 32, I simply shrunk stuff bigger that that down to size for my Procrustean charset.
Basically, just spliced the wall and statues together. I've seen the signs one before (except no hieroglyphs), and the others were too big. I'm gonna try a second one, and call these "Map Objects." It seems like invariably, the chipset won't have something like a piano or certain signs.

I'm thinking, holy crap, Toby Fox is insane.
This week I was working on some way to have a boss-only (but not true pacifist) run.
I did a sort of offering items instead of the choice based interface, and it was with 40 or so types of monster group. That took almost a week of solid work, except for one day when I had to go somewhere. I had to add code like 300 times to monster parties, then I had to make a big common event with 40 groups and about anywhere from 1-12 items for each, and then redo a couple times because testing didn't work.
Meanwhile, he did individual codes for each enemy, and codes for how enemies interact together (like how making a joke helps spare Jerry, and can only be done with a certain party).

I want to make it possible to do a pacifist (or boss-only) game play, so I'm making a sort of bribe system that happens at the beginning of the battles.
Like, if a creature lives in the desert, you can give it water. Or many monsters you can give meat.
There are wrinkles, like some items require multiple quantities, and some items won't be accepted or will cause a reaction (don't give vials of blood to vampires, as it'll make them crazy and attack).

I wanna see exact words. It feels like Toby's possibly doing the "in a manner of speaking" thing full power and saying alot of stuff that if interpreted slightly differently, is completely wrong.
