I sort of regret the expression I gave her. She's supposed to be haughty, bratty and aristocratic but she ended up looking a lot more tame. I'm glad I still captured her dignified appearance however. I was actually going to draw the Treaty Blade in her right hand (which is why her right hand could look like its holding something) but it totally threw off the balance of the picture, hah.
I can see where you're coming from about Ariel. It must be the red hair. :)

We already covered that in a previous blog.
Actually... I could have sworn we did too. But I just spent a few minutes looking over the blog posts and images discussion back to the beginning of March and I couldn't find it. We might have been thinking of our private message conversation concerning the re-implementation of relics since that was around 2 1/2 months ago. Maybe I didn't look hard enough.
Well, if thats the case... Voila! Augments are out, Relics are back in! Not sure about how much they'll adhere to the original weapon and armor augment mods so I'll leave that for William.

Ahh... no Parker? Oh, and for all those who read the list... Ashe's weapon sprite is tentative for now... She might get something a little cooler later on down the development line; its still being worked on. ;)

Congrats and good eye! The character on the left and the FF12 character in this trio is indeed Vossler.
Negative on Selphie, Seifer, Reno and Card Queen... although Card Queen is an extremely good guess! Its definitely on the right track.
Here's another hint: One of the remaining two characters is already present in the currently downloadable demo. They just didn't have a portrait.

Seriously speaking though... Here's a hint: The three characters come from (in no particular order) FF7, FF8 and FF12.

The animations are really coming along nicely. That was the first time I saw the full Leviathan summoning animation and it was pretty friggin' sweet.

That's a pretty good guess, hahaha. No go about the first two characters though. Like I said, most playable main characters from other games won't be in FFD in anything other than an a "generic imposter" role (i.e. Locke, Squall, Cloud). I can totally see where you're coming from about Tidus in a hat though, hehe.
