PUMPKIN SPLAT DEMO VER. 0.9 RELEASED!
I just got through I think all that's possible of the demo in its current state, and I have to say I love it so far! And I'm not just biased because of a certain pickle.
Quick points:
AND FOR POSITIVITY, things I really liked!!!
Quick points:
- There's some typos and grammatical errors sprinkled throughout. There's some spelling things, too, like "Luscious" being written as "Lushious" in the one book title. Though that might've been intentional given the... rest of the title.
- It's possible for Jackie to examine things even when he's not facing them. Like in the dance party room at the very beginning, if you're below the table but facing left or right, it'll still give a description of what's on the table. This isn't really a bad thing, but it's something to note!
- The Bug You're Already Aware Of
AND FOR POSITIVITY, things I really liked!!!
- Violet, as expected.
- All of the artwork is charming and cute! Even the bloodsplatter. I muttered "wow, this is gorgeous" out loud in the windowed hallway.
- Jackie's emotion bubbles are really adorable and I love them
- Meanwhile, the sound design is good at being unnerving. Especially the mushy sounds of the jelly thing. It's very gross and off-putting, but in a good way.
